I want Barca too, they are very beatable

Barca is never really beatable when your Inter, we met them before where they where in bad shape they still beat us…

In fact you want to avoid any Spanish team or we are as good as out. Our record against Spanish teams are horrendous. Unfortunately there almost a 50% chance that is exactly what we will draw.

This years CL is drawing up to be one of the toughest in years once we past 1/8. 6 of 8 slot one are all among the top 10 best teams in the world.

Then on top in same slot there is 5th placed Dortmund and Real Socidad in their respective leagues

In second slot however you do find us, PSG, Serie A Champions in Napoli, 4th placed Bundesliga team RB Leipzig, undefeated PSV, joint leaders in Portugal in Porto that has become a bit of a CL specialist.

The team mainly missing is Liverpool and perhaps Leverkusen in terms of strength, but it’s not like Leverkusen did marvellous last time around.

This 1/8 isn’t going to be much stronger then it is only really weak teams who has basically nothing to do there is FCK and Lazio but that’s almost always how it is, last year it was Eintracht Frankfurt and Club Brugge that was equally trash.

Statistically our biggest chance is Bayern and Dortmund! That said as that’s the case for most teams and the probability that Dorthmund draw FCK is the largest for them and Bayerns largest is PSG.

Then the probability for CL final rematch with City seem more and more likely.

All the reaming we can draw have an equal probability

Next year the CL is changing. Swiss type format.

Each team plays 8 matches (random?). Top 8 ranking qualify directly. The rest play 2 mini-knockouts to choose 8 more.

Those who are out are really the weakest. But all have to play more matches.
Christ.

Btw, the real reason for the change is in bold.

Yes it’s fantastic that league the teams where trying to construct sound more and more attractive.

The new CL format is a disaster that heavily favours the wealthiest clubs. The probability of us squeezing into top 8 in that format is slim with a squad dept that is already questionable

City getting the easiest team
The weakest Italian getting the toughest

We beat them last year, imo, they are still in the process of becoming a well-oiled machine. They are not there yet. We on the other hand have same core, experience is on our side. We should beat someone with name. With that said, I still think the club is set to exit early to focus on the scudetto

Yeah, it was maybe a little confusing. But they don't want to face us and I for sure don't want us to face them this early.

Sure until next CL round where potentially all 3 remaining teams can very well all get eliminated.

Lazio has everything that speaks against them, it would require some miracle for them to get any further, regardless of whom they draw they will be the underdogs.

Napoli are in disarray unless they draw Real Socidad or Dortmund they don’t stand much chance of getting any further.

We can potentially beat everyone but it won’t be easy and we would need to draw Dortmund or Arsenal as they are probably the teams that suit us the best. City, Real, Bayern and Atl Madrid is going to be one steep hill to climb
