Udinese - Inter (27 Jan 08)

This sunday we're going to face Udinese team at their stadium.

Udinese suprisingly does very well this season. But looking at their line-ups, it shouldn't be a big suprise. With Di Natale and Quagliarella at the attacking positions, they can earn alot this season and make problems to many teams.
Their lost last match to Milan which they shouldn't (goal made by Gilardino or someone from offside).

As Udinese is very high on table I expect our strongest or almost best line ups with Ibra, cruz or crespo (he must get to his back great form finally!) Maicon, Chivu and Jimenez.


Personally, I very like Udinese and I'm looking forward to see them in CL next year doing some suprises to good european teams and joining the group of best Italian teams after Roma.

I personally remember Udinese as the only team that we failed to beat in Serie A last season. They were also responsible for ending our record breaking winning streaks. They've been in a pretty good form as of late, winning 3 of their last 4 matches. The only blip was the unfortunate last-gasp defeat against Milan. Their away record is 4-3-3, conceding and scoring 9 goals in the process.

I hope that this match doesn't turn out to be as frustrating as last season's, where Udinese held us to a draw to stop our piping hot run.

This match is gonna be really difficult, them have a good play and dangerous players but is good because the victory gonna be more delicious...

I'm expecting a difficult game. Like nutcracker said, they've got a good attack with Quaqliarella and Di Natale, as well as a mean defence in Zapata and Felipe. We should definitely be playing with our best lineup.

Udinese has been a tough nut to crack the last few seasons. They've become our bogey team, replacing Chievo/Lazio/Parma (pick any one) They've built a solid team up there in Udine. A good defense, solid midifled and a pretty potent attack that could trouble us, as we haven't been playing up too par to start 2008.

Seems like a solid team. Don't know the status of Deki, Maicon and Chivu or else I would've past the latter two in the starting lineup.

It is hard to picture Udinese losing two games in a row. I just hope the lads go into the pitch with the right mentality from the word go and remain that for the entire match for us to let them taste defeat for a second week in a row.

I'm not sure about this game, not after two games like Parma and Juventus in one week.

We couldn't beat them last year. Not sure now after the last 2 Serie-A performances we showed. Plus the fact that some of our boys played a full 90 minutes on Wednesday, I hope tiredness isn't going to be an additional problem.

I seriously do not want us to slip, considering both Roma & JuBe have considerably lighter opponents.

And we have another JuBe in the next 3 days, in which we have to net at least 2 goals.

I'd say we field the strongest team, and when the 3 poinst is almost secured, subs some of the main players & change tactic to defense (4-3-1-2 to 4-4-2).

Neither Maicon nor Chivu were called up for the game against Udinese, however, Dejan Stan is with the squad in Udine. :shades:

On alice.it suazo is still confirmed as injured. Besides, if Mancio wants to take one striker with poor form out, it should be Arma Lethale. But nice move, to give Supermario a further chance....

This is the best line-up considering the call-ups, although as Mancio proven many times, it's not likely

There is important game with Juventus in 3 days, and Patrick was out for a long time, and Dejan is playing like evey third game or so.

I think only one from Patrick-Dejan duo will start this game, as the rest will stand, although I see there Crespo upfront(we need JuBe killer on wednesday).
