Ed do you know why we wore our old away shirts? You're all-knowing so I thought you would be the right person to ask :p
I guess because Torino were home with their dark red jerseys and our home black and blue kits wouldn't contrast enough.

Because our home jersey is black and blue which is a dark jersey. Our most wanted away jersey is bright but it is red, which is similar to Torino's home jersey. So, we have to invent our third jersey which is bright but not red, then someone in the club remember we used to play in white away. So, they opened the locker and players wore it last night.

Same reason why JC wore our white away jersey few times last season.

It's our alternate jersey meant to be a third option. Why all the fuss about it? :nerd:

Juve does the same with their pink faggy one.

Well, it's different tho. We wore our last season away jersey because we had to, we had no other choice. Juve wear their pink fag because they are proud to be fags.

That bizarre approach with Cambiasso dropping to the defense line really puzzles me. Yes, he dragged a player with him to create a space in the midfield, but we've never made use of that space during the game (watched until 60th minute, will watch the rest later).

I don't really know why we came up with this tactical approach, forming a 3-5-1-1 essentially when we start the attack. The biggest problem with this is we couldn't really move the ball forward at all, and we were resorted to passing and attacking from either side, main the left side actually. This might be because Torino is defensively weak on the wing or something, but our approach wasn't really a success considering our attack basically ended every time with Pereira hitting a ridiculous long pass to the opponent or Nagatomo/Zanetti/Jonathan crossing into the hands of the goal keeper.

If this is really a smart tactical approach, then Stramaccioni is a pretty damn good fortune teller to be able to tell Milito would be godly in this game out of the ten games he played this season, including friendlies.

Our link-up play obviously became better with the introduction of Alvarez, considering we had really no body who could make a proper pass prior his introduction. I'm not entirely sure if playing so many full backs really is beneficial, unless they were used to defend Torino's world class wingers. After all, Stevanovic was dubbed to be the future Serbian Zidane.

The idea is actually quite smart because Torino are attacking from wings and the idea was to hit them hard with our wing backs. But players failed to do so. We created a big hole in the mid to gain control, but Pereira and Guarin didn't perform up to the standard to control the mid which should be easy. Instead Guarin and Pereira lost many balls which reduced deliveries to the attacking front. I think the tactical apporach is right but wasn't executed well.

At home against the smaller teams, I clearly don't want to see the same. Due to the nature of the game being different, we will need to take the game to the opposition. For this, I want Palacio, Milito, Sneijder and Cassano/Coutinho on at once.

Had we gone that attacking, Juan may not have been risked to start

We need to beg Serie A to change all home matches to away, this way we can have 100%

With posssion, we use Cambiasso as a defender, without, we don't. This is extreme tactics.
I saw that the day before at Sunderland - Liverpool, Allen played exactly the same, I guees Strama watched this game too heh

You could be right.

The fact that both Guarin and Pereira's passing accuracy was horrendous to say the least totally overshadowed any sort of positive impact of Stramaccioni's tactical plans.

However, I don't see much weakness on either side of Torino's defence, our players were pretty well marked in many occasions. But then again, our players played a sub-par game for the majority of the game that I managed to watch.

I don't see what's so "extreme" about it tbh... Barcelona have been doing this at times with Busquets for at least a season.
