That bizarre approach with Cambiasso dropping to the defense line really puzzles me. Yes, he dragged a player with him to create a space in the midfield, but we've never made use of that space during the game (watched until 60th minute, will watch the rest later).
I don't really know why we came up with this tactical approach, forming a 3-5-1-1 essentially when we start the attack. The biggest problem with this is we couldn't really move the ball forward at all, and we were resorted to passing and attacking from either side, main the left side actually. This might be because Torino is defensively weak on the wing or something, but our approach wasn't really a success considering our attack basically ended every time with Pereira hitting a ridiculous long pass to the opponent or Nagatomo/Zanetti/Jonathan crossing into the hands of the goal keeper.
If this is really a smart tactical approach, then Stramaccioni is a pretty damn good fortune teller to be able to tell Milito would be godly in this game out of the ten games he played this season, including friendlies.
