Well said.Steven, this is what happens when you auction every single player for the entire summer.
Please fuck off you cunt.
Rumors? There have been nothing but rumors for like 3 years...Any rumors? or is this cunt steven actually keeping the club.
Lets not kidd our selfe and think that the situation would be different once a new owner comes...We're going to continue to sell players as long as Zhang owns the team. Why? Because this club is incapable of earning the necessary commercial and sporting revenues to ever reach a point of sustainability. The Zhangs are incapable of even finding us a lucrative kit sponsor. In an absence of the revenues we need, the only alternative is plusvalenza.
The problem, of course, is plusvalenza is not a reliable source of income. It assumes that you 1) have players that other clubs wish to purchase for large fees, 2) have signed the player at a low enough transfer fee to ensure reselling them achieves a gain, and 3) the player is willing to move. Right now, luckily enough, we have plenty of 1) and 2) - Suning's biggest obstacle has been 3) (see Bastoni and Skriniar)*. But like I said, this strategy isn't sustainable. Over the past three, five, and even ten years, we've rarely shown an ability to sign and develop players. The well is going to run dry, especially when Suning isn't giving us a sufficient transfer budget to replace departing players or Marotta makes a poor choice (Correa). You need an almost 100% hit rate on incoming transfers, otherwise this strategy fails.
So then what happens? Naturally the club's on-field performance begins to deteriorate. You can only make so many backward moves before the sporting results begin to suffer. That's where we're currently at in this vicious cycle; watching the club regress down the Serie A table as we replace Hakmi with Dumfries, Perisic with Dimarco, and Lukaku with Dzeko. What happens if we fail to qualify for the UCL because of this regression? Then we've actually missed out on MORE revenues, to the tune of at least 30M. Failing to adequately spend money may cause the club's finances to deteriorate faster than spending on a transfer fee would have.
TL;DR one of the first lessons of business is that you need to spend money to make money. We're going to have a revenue problem very soon.
*I also want to point out that our current salary structure still operates as if we're a "big" club. This means that there are only 10-12 clubs in the world who will realistically be able to match or improve our players' salaries in a transfer.
how many players did milan sell so far? i think milan never sell their core players in every season, just scrub and noobs at all. it was Napoli and Jube sold their core players and actually those clubs replaced them after all.Lets not kidd our selfe and think that the situation would be different once a new owner comes...
Also the zhangs have massively increased our revenue so to act like they have not or cant does not seem fair.
Anyways my point being unless we get a PIF kind of investor we ll probably have to sell some players anyways as revenue does not just jump 30-50% just cause theres a new investor even if he has great/good ideas....
Again look at BBilan dudes have been a seling club even under new mgm and it did not change even when they won scudetto.
Also how have they not fund us a lucrative kit sponsor i think under the zhangs we signed our two most valuable deals when it comes to kit sponsor... And i m quite sure that we went with them cause they were paying by far the most, not like the zhangs our mgm did not know the risk off signing to a crypto fraud.
Plus the whole fucken sports industry does it so why not? Especially if your in a situation where you cannot take the moral high ground and earn less...
They have increased our revenues but they haven't manage to improve our commercial sponsorships. Sizeable part of those revenues were those hoax Asian sponsorships. We had to even write off some of them from our books because we simply didn't get the money in the end. I think our commercial revenues have decreased recently.Lets not kidd our selfe and think that the situation would be different once a new owner comes...

It was Napoli and jube have same problem like Inter to sell their core players and of course those clubs replaced them
and why Inter sell their core/potential players available, of course to please these Zhang/suning rats with money to their pockets.
