Again, at what cost we did all that? I would be willing to sacrifice one year for the one title won, maybe even two if we were to immediately head in the right direction, but this shit is way too much for my patience, it just isn't worth it when you take into account that there is no end in sight for our current predicament.

And the argument that we would be 7th in this league without suning is the biggest load of bullshit when you see what milan did with their project.
like we've come even close to pulling off what Milan have done? All we've done until Suning was sign shit tier players.

And, at what cost? Honestly, probably 30-40% of our debt comes from COVID related issues. It's not like things woul be perfect without Suning's investment - they've thrown hundreds of millions into the club, we'd be much worse off without them, and if all other things are equal, we would probably be outside the CL with the resurgence of Roma, Napoli, Milan, etc in recent seasons.

Also Zhang words towards a sale and Suning commitment look ridiculous now when there's this quote on financial statements:

"The reference shareholder (Suning) has already expressed its formal commitment to financially support the Group for at least the next 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements or, if a change of control of the Parent Company, until the date in which control of the same will be maintained,”

I dont fkn care about that one scudetto under Suning when we will(again thanks to them) lose next two or three to fkn beelan or Napoli. All good what they did currently means shite. If they cant improve squad every fkn mercato they should fuck off, plain and simple.

You didn't care about the Scudetto?

The alternative scenario would be Zhangs didn't splash all that money to Barella, Sensi, Conte, Lukaku, Hakimi, Eriksen. We wouldn't be where we are now. No trophies, just struggling to make top4 still, most probably. Zhang splashing made it all possible that this team can win games consistently, rack up over 80 points in Serie A etc.

Generally, why football is played? To win. So winning the Scudetto even by mortgaging the future is fine because at least we won something, there's something to show for all the hours, days, weeks, months of work the team has done, fans have followed etc. Scudetto, Super Coppa, Coppa Italia. You rather not win and be less competitive? Because there's no certainty if Zhangs didn't splash back then putting our future in the situation we are now, that we would be in a better situation sporting-wise now. Financially maybe, but sporting-wise probably not. And winning now is hard too with Milan coming up, Napoli seemingly coming up hard. We would have some so-so team with no winning experience.

Zhang/Suning provided the initial capital and leadership to win the Scudetto. I thank them for that but I want to be consistently challenging.
And the way Milan look, Napoli going and sooner or later Juventus will get their shit together with Roma/Lazio being the dark horses it will only get harder for Inter to win. It will take reinvestment from Suning to keep challenging. It shows during the summer window when we ccouldn'tclose Bremer/Dybala and signed fucking Acerbi that Suning cant take the club further.

I am not looking Haalland/Mbappe signings, we still need to be prudent and sign tmart deals like Tonali/Raspadori etc when possible. If Suning cant do that, then new owners must!!

The issue is the new owners might not be able to do those signings either. Club is in big debt and the costs are too high. We made -240m two years ago (20/21 result) and -140m last year (21/22 result) which was due to getting +100m from player sales. This summer we made net neutral transfers. But we have quite some amortization bill, latest big additions being Correa and Gosens.

We aren't getting some sheiks to bail us out, we need to get that idea out of the system.

Also with the new FFP structure, our expenditure is limited to a % of revenue anyway. The best chance we have with a new owner is to sign some new sponsorships, and continue to reduce costs until we can actually spend

Naww a picture of positivity....

Let's fuking hope so, until then no point worrying about it and the club falling into mediocrity. I also, think Serie A in general need to get their shit together!!!

The words are also interesting given that how much are they willing to commit to Inter financially. All of the Oaktree money hasn't been used yet.

This guy changes the narrative every few days. First it's PIF (even writing tweets in Arabic). Then it's the Milwaukee Bucks guy. Then it's the Swiss-Italian billionaire. Now Zhang wants to keep the club because of Super League. I can't take him seriously.

Gimme a break.... The dude is just throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.....
if i remember correctly with both PIF and Lasry he acted like the deal was basically done and as far as anybody can tell at least the lasry thing never was serious...

Dudes just using his tactics to write about transferes and applying it to the sale of inter. Make up what ever as long as it makes a bit of sense and exageratte every tiny bit of info you get.

I understand that. I'm not a fan rumour media myself, but I believe it's safe to say that at least there were some interested buyers, especially after we won the league.

If it's all bs from him, that's not for me to say
