Okay, so the forum is back after being down for a couple of hours. It was down for an unknown reason (most likely a hacker), and it was related to a bunch of hosts who didn't work.

I'm sorry for the downtime guys, but this one was beyond our control. Something happened with the server side concerning PHP and this caused many PHP based boards to be down. It seems like our host has fixed the problem now.

10 years of FIFIt was slow when I just logged on earlier today. It's gotten better since though.

Is it just me or has this site been very slow in last three/four days?
Nowdays it tooks about 20 seconds [if i´m lucky] to 2 minutes to open one page. Every other site works as fast as always for me...

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFI'd say. It just took me a good three minutes to get into the forums from the front page. I almost started beating my computer with a mini-hockey stick, before I realized it wasn't the computer.

This is so common with our finns beloved forum FF. The forum is created in the same base than this one. Even the error announcement was so familiar when I tried to enter FI.
Management knows it better but I'm quite pessimistic. FF is very crowded and for example in all Finland NT matches forum is down nearly always. Expect this to happen here too in our coming matches.
Well management must have more technical information about this. I'm just wondering how hard would it be to change forum type? To for example like juventuz.com. We'd lost our database, wouldn't we?

vBulletin is renowned to be the best software for forums but it is not free, unlike phpBB, which we are using right now. Example of a forum that uses vBulletin is XtraTime. It is said to be possible to convert phpBB forum into vBulletin forum without losing any posts or topics. I think Tim has learnt how to do it and once the time comes, we promise that we will provide a better habitat for us Interisti.

If it can be done, and we can migrate to the better server, I think we can re-start that money transfer thing, I think we can come up with a good amount with the number of people we have here.

Do you mean member fee from all members? Actually as a thought it's great.
Here's my suggestion. Don't know would work but..
1) Forza-Inter Club should be founded. What ever the name is then.
2) We'd carry member fee. If you payed it, you'll get reading and writing rights.
What would happen with this?
1. More money for management --> Better forum.
2. Multiple identity trolls would be gone. (Forza Juve, ZZANG's all dudes)
3. Spammers would disappear. (BBilanistas..)
4. More money -> vBulletin
