Maybe Threads, maybe Bluesky, maybe Mastodon … depends on your circle.

Tiktok, Instagram has already eaten Twitter in branding building type, celebrities/gossiping also happens there more now.

Only breaking news, live events/sports, politics matter on Twitter but if mass audience leave for other platforms, it goes there as well.

Personally I moved to Mastodon, would not sign up anything else. For catching Inter/football related news, this forum and @IM21 are good to me

Good thing is that "exceeded limit quota" bullshit is gone from Twitter. I actually like the app so much. There's so many things that I enjoy watching/reading about football, whether it is about news, old videos or whatever. And there's still a bunch of beautiful chicks to drop an eye sometimes to get a fresh breathe of all that toxic discussions going there

That image just completely avoids the claim that Meta is data-scraping Twitter for its own use. That in itself is grounds for a good lawsuit.

No clue. Regardless, I have nothing against Musk. He simply - IMO - made Twitter worse since acquiring it. The tweet limits from the weekend made the app inoperable. The pay-to-play system means content creation is less organic. I'm glad he has a legitimate competitor now, and the better system will win in the end.

It has nothing to do with liking or disliking Musk. Personally i am indifferent to Musk while i have strong dislike for Zuckerberg. Meta are in no way "the good guys".

But as an active twitter user i am very disappointed with where the platform is going ever since the takeover. And i am not the only one.

App crashes a lot recently. Musk fucked with verification system in order to turn the platform premium. Bots activity is at its highest. And the icing of the cake, rate limit. Empty tl because we had seen too many tweets was plain ridiculous. We couldn't even see our fucking posts on our profile. There were people who couldn't like or post for hours. That's ridiculous.

At the moment Threads isn't available in EU so it doesn't really matter to me. But it's a good thing to have a serious alternative. I am not a Musk fanboy or a twitter addict to stay on the platform no matter what. If i am not satisfied with the app i will just leave.

I was outraged Inter wasn't on Threads until I read it's blocked in the EU. But, despite this, Romano managed to create an account and post updates there. A true hero.
