I buy the no Italian reason. We have not inserted a single top player who couldn’t speak Italian at least a bit. Furthermore those who couldn’t always had to be patient (Eriksen, Bisseck, Dumfries at the beginning). It is perfectly ok for us to give him time as we are not in a situation of rush. We have Darmian and Dumfries being able to play that position.

Not surprising and not unexpected at all. He was always going to have a difficult time at the beginning. He will have to work very hard to get on the pitch.

More so under Inzaghi. Asllani was regular at Empoli, still, took him almost one bench season to get significant minutes. It would be the same for Bisseck but, fortunately, we had the injury crisis.

For a guy from lower tier I dont expect sooner than next season.

its understandable that Buchanan has not gotten any playing time so far, as all the games were pretty damn important and vs good teams... But if he gets no playing time vs some of the shit teams, id be surprised.

Actually people seems to be quite forgetful, even for Pavard, he didn't get to jump in right away, it took games before his debut.
Besides the language, there are also tactics classes.

From what I have seen so far, Inzaghi rewards play time accordingly, with a good established on the frame of the team.

even as an ''Inzaghi hater'', I can't be mad at him for not playing Buchanan yet. Since he is here all the games were tough... But i do wish to see him vs Salernitana, especially if we have a lead. Darmian needs like a full game off.

We can expect him to play, this season, in two scenarios:
- in matches after we secure scudetto,
- in matches after we mathematically lose every chance to win scudetto.
I was irrationally optimistic when predicting that he could start playing in March.
