I really hope this guy delivers. We need some new tricks in our game plan. He is fast, can dribble, its yet to see can he do that on this level. Lets hope for the best.

Seems like a really humble and hardworking guy. I like having these sorts of players around that have had to overcome difficult situations early in life. You know someone like Buchanan appreciates the opportunity to be here and will give absolutely everything.

id be shocked if this guy has 100 min on his name in 3 months when Cuntdrado returns... I see him get little minutes in some safe games, where we are leading 3-0 vs some shit teams.

"Wingback Tajon Buchanan has yet to take the pitch for Inter Milan as he is still improving his proficiency in Italian.
The Nerazzurri signed the Canadian international from Club Brugge early on in the January transfer window.
Inter didn’t want to wait around to bring Buchanan in. Considering that the 24-year-old is a player who they were targeting as injury cover for Juan Cuadrado, they moved in the first week of January.
Buchanan is a player who Inter have earmarked as a reinforcement to the squad depth.
And getting the 24-year-old in as soon as possible to start settling him into the squad was a priority.
Still, Buchanan has not yet played in a single match for Inter, either from the start or from the bench.
It is not exactly surprising that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi would not throw the Canadian straight into the deep end by giving him a start in his first couple weeks at the club.
But the lack of even a run-out as a substitute is perhaps surprising.
Though, there is a particular reason for Buchanan’s lack of playing time to date.
The problem is not to do with fitness. Buchanan’s medicals and early training sessions have shown that he is more than ready physically speaking.
But the Canadian is undergoing intensive lessons in speaking Italian.
This is so that Buchanan can start to take on tactical instructions more quickly.
The wingback role at Inter is a particularly tactically demanding one. Players like Achraf Hakimi and Denzel Dumfries have also had to make adjustments upon their arrival.
Buchanan is a player who Inter see as ideal for the position. But it is not one that he has played in the past.
So the 24-year-old is having to take in a lot of information and guidance from both Inzaghi and his teammates on his positioning and how to act in different tactical situations.
Having a decent grasp of Italian is an important part of this proces. "

Not surprising and not unexpected at all. He was always going to have a difficult time at the beginning. He will have to work very hard to get on the pitch.
