Spanish La Liga 2012/2013

The season will start on 18th August 2012 and run until 19th May 2013. Also in August will be the Super Copa between Madrid (Liga winners) and Barcelona (Copa del Rey winners).

So far the only club to be promoted from Segunda is Deportivo who return after a one year absence. The other two clubs to be promoted will be decided in the coming days, I will update the thread when these are known. The clubs relegated from Primera in 2011/12 were Villarreal, Sporting Gijon and Racing Santander.

Should be interesting to follow next season in La Liga. Barca without Pep, then Real will try to defend the title and so on. Already said earlier that feels sorry about Villareal's relegation but however they will bounce back soon.

So both Vilanova and Mourinho are banned from coaching the Super Copa, because of what happened last year (Mou for poking Tito in the eye, Tito for slapping Mou in the face). Tito would be banned first leg, Mou for both.

But RFEF are considering pardoning them.
