What a tragic news. Something needs to be done. There needs to be less matches over a season. Players are getting too fatigued over the course of a season, too many have passed away over the past seasons.

exactly..the thing about his unborn child is the worst part.

and I don't think that it had anything to do with too many games to be honest..when you are born with a heart problem it simply happens.
or in Foé's case, it's something that happens to a lot of africans because when they come over to Europe, their heart can't really bear it...either because of stress during passing over to Europe or other (climate) reasons.

First of all, what a damn shame to lose your life at such a young age. I can't even begin to imagine what his gf, who is pregnant with his child, must be feeling. Second, it's one of those rare times I agree with Oleguer. You can't do much for a weak heart and playing less games won't drastically make your heart stronger.

Rest in Peace to Antonio Puerta and the best of luck to his family and Sevilla FC.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's warm all-year round in Seville. Maybe playing games at night would be a better solution for the months of August and September.

BTW I didn't know Cuper was back in football. Is there any chance that Hamed is now a Betis supporter lol
