What a horrendous year for Barca. With the additions they made last summer (Henry, Milito, Toure, Abidal) I thought they would've at least given Real Madrid some problems. Then they lose at home to little Mallorca. Yikes. Just goes to show you that having numerous star players doesn't always work out.

Believe it or not, Zaragoza are relegated since some minutes ago, it's like Palermo being relegated with the good team they have, unbelievable because teams like Valladolid, Osasuna, Recreativo and some more do not have the good players Zaragoza have.

Diego Milito is going probably to Napoli, and also Sergio Garcia, Ricardo Oliveira, Zapater or Aimar looks like will get out.

Valencia have hired Unai Emery as their new manager. Guess another 50 pages for Mourinho lovers, as to how much our chances have increased of getting him, as after Barca, now even Valencia are out of the picture.

Seems like top Laliga sides are not really going for reputable managers. Emery has done well this season. In their first season back in the top flight Emery guided Almeria to 8th position, a place above Valencia.

I really hope Valencia shape up this season. What happen to the good old Benitez days? I really wanna see a more competitive la liga, and a team outside Real or Barca winning it.

So the three managers for the top Spanish teams are Shucster, Guardiola and Emery.
Two years ago Guardiola hadnt started coaching, Emery was coaching in Segunda B, and Shucster was coaching a relegation threatened team in Laliga. !! Big step for these managers.

they say emery is the typical tactican great at free kicks and more stuff, he has done a good job with almeria, but who knows what he can do in a almost big club? maybe a flop, maybe the new benitez.

Looks as if Lazio are holding some interest over Aimar.

It would be brilliant to see him over in Italy.Has been sometime since i saw him play.Hope he hasnt lost it and Lazio pull it off and we can see him in Italy.

He was a delight to watch. When everybody was clamouring for Veron and English brigade of World Class Mid Fielders. This guy stole the show in WC 2002 versus England.Although sadly England went ahead on penalty and played a shoddly defensive game to shut out Argentina.

he will be lucky if he can win a spot of starter in Lazio
