Inzaghi record so far at Inter:
(21/22) Serie A: behind Milan, CL: eliminated round-16
(22/23) Serie A: behind Lazio, CL: finalist
(23/24) Serie A: Scudetto probably, CL: eliminated round-16

I would say he does good enough considering our -budget. But that's just it, good enough.

Our record against the big teams in CL are abysmal:
- (21/22) losing Real Madrid twice, eliminated by Liverpool
- (22/23) losing Bayern twice, winning Barcelona once, losing to City
- (23/24) eliminated by ATM
So claiming we are top 3-5 whatever is stretched. Some might disagree, but we are edge below ATM and big gaps with others. Finishing and deep & young enough squad to press 90' to be more specific. Regarding depth...one player can take PK reliably is also depth lack.

Serie A don't have a single team of such aforementioned qualities is also an issue. Our league wins aren't highly rated, similar to PSG.
Dude, come on! How great we were in CL, excluding the treble season? Inzaghi is doing pretty well considering our budget and those losses vs Real and Bayern were expected, especially when we fielded the back up players against Bayern. Of course he has his flaws, and he gets criticism about it.
He definitely prioritized the scudetto over the CL this year. I'm disappointed but slightly. It's ot like we were destroyed or get eliminated by some weaklings. Jube and Milan fans could be happy and celebrating now, but this actually shows how strong we are, and how they feared do win the CL as well. This is showing that Inzaghi is doing fine job.

How we play we are a top5 team in Europe. It's just that collectively the players were not up to their standards against Atletico in both matches. Atletico had the mentality of a winner.

Most disappointing player - Pavard. I had such high hopes for him.
Was Juventus top the season they held the 102 points record? Neither does Leverkusen this season.

Nobody really cares how fans feel when watching their favorite teams play. But which team wins eventually. Mentally better = better.

We cant even top our group stage. Dont mix CL and Serie A.

We wouldn't be winning Serie A if we weren't playing so good overall.

He should incorporate Buchanan already being one of the impactfull subs in the team. We miss player of his atributes. Thats the thing I dont like in Limone. He tends to play too safe with same players over and over, and it is extremely hard to knock into to squad. I mean, Klaasen is shite, it was so obvious for a get go. Play fucking Sensi I dont care. Try something new. Buchanan should play tonight when we were trailing, not a hasbeens Sanchez or Klaasen.

I also said the same before, specifically for Mkhitaryan and was called hater.
This is Inzaghi's flaw since he came at Inter, and this season he has some improvement in that aspect and let's hope to keep improving in future as well.
I really hope him starting to rotate more till the end of the season, considering our comfortable lead. Players like Asllani, Frattesi, Buchanan and Bisseck shall play much more. Maybe it's good to try some experiments like deploying Pavard as CB or Asllani as mezzala. Frattesi shall start every match to build up confidence with Barella and Mkhitaryan sharing the other spot.
But he will try to break Jube's points record most probably, playing the starters every match no matter what.

lol typical overreaction I expected but also some rational reactions I didn’t expect  IMO we’ve freaking overachieved with this squad based on how I perceived it coming into the season. I felt Lautaro was too inconsistent as a striker and it would hurt us in the long run, and that didn’t really happen unless you count the clutch factor in CL. I thought Thuram would be a lame duck and his game wouldn’t translate in our team set up and Serie A as a whole but he has overachieved by far, his consistency is still up for debate since the sample size is small and as it stands I really don’t think he will replicate this next season, so if a reasonable offer comes I would be inclined to sell. I thought our defence would get worse since we lost Skriniar and Inzaghi had proven to be inconsistent with his defensive organisation but we way overachieved on that as well. I didn’t think we’d get out of our group stage in CL and I didn’t think we’d be in the grand position we’re in by 16 points up in Serie A in March!?

Look guys, this match should have been wrapped up in the first leg if we were clinical enough. Even this second leg we had one foot over the finish line. We’re not a team of world beaters like some would like to believe. We’re a team of free transfers and gambles that paid off, usually it’s Suning’s recipe for “let’s just TRY and get top four in Serie A” and here we are, barring an absolute catastrophe, in a sure fire position to win Serie A. Bottom line is I am satisfied so far, because I thought this season would be absolutely dog shit and Inzaghi would get the sack and we’d start from year zero again. This is far from the case and we have done well because of the wonderful chemistry of good coaching and camaraderie. A recipe for success, but its sustainability is murky because the future of our ownership is murky. So let’s just relax, refocus and hopefully enjoy the coming of the second star this season. We should be proud of this team for this at least.

With Morata out it didn't make any sense to have all this CB's, you put all that size so he will not score a header, problem is Correa and Depay were playing who are skilled and short, so Darmain and Dimarco as CB's with Acerbi in the middle makes much more sense.

The Bastoni-Acerbi sub was completely useless. Limone got scared and wanted to keep it at 1-1. Oh boy, did that backfire.

He should bring Buchanan. But no way you could do that cause you have him previously 10 minutes to play in fucking 3 months.

I don't see it like that. You can say a lot of things about Inzaghi but he doesn't weigh and discriminate among competitions, even in our packed schedule earlier he still deployed the best XI for the stupid supercoppa.

Yes and Bastoni seemed very pissed when he came out.

Maybe if we had more quality upfront he would bring it to the pitch. We have really great quality in defence than other parts of the squad. We miss greatly a proper back up striker or offensive midfielder.

I dont know if the quality in defense is that great. Certainly not when De Vrij and Dumfries are playing against any sort of decent opposition. Acerbi wont last forever, they need to start thinking about getting a new starting CCB.

Also Inzaghis brilliant gameplan of cautiously playing 5-a-side in our own box with Sommer with the majority of our possession was ridiculous. This Inter team should try to impose their own game, not cautiously wait. Though the chaotic defense largely made that impossible even if Inzaghi had wanted to.

Inzaghi's plan worked greatly, we even scored a typical goal for our style. But it's absolutely not his fault everyone was choking after the 1-1.

His subs on the other hand only disoriented our defense. Never should have subbed off Bastoni for Acerbi.

Well quality of defence is much better than of attack.

he deployed his best players for the super coppa because it's one of his favorite trophies he can use as an alibi
