…Demone>>Conte😎
I disagree here. We can definitely agree on Simone’s Inter >> Conte‘s Inter as we have been playing the best football since I‘ve been watching Inter actually. Even through treble we were not this dominant. Certainly that season looks crazy after it happened, but there were many lucky lucky incidents leading to our treble. This season I feel we ride less on luck and far more on skill.

What Conte did though was not to be underrated. Inzaghi took over a squad consisting full of winners with an environment full of winners and a winning team structure. Conte came when there was no winning spirit in the team. We were flying high, because we made last minute CL against Empoli also because they were firing blanks for the last 15 minutes of the game. This is the big difference to me.

I will rate Inzaghi more in the future as Inter coach obviously, because he is the more likeable guy with an almost guarantee that he’ll end as a legend here, and furthermore is by far easier to handle than Conte, but you just cannot compare the challenge Conte took on and Inzaghi took on.

He did extend till 2025 and there is an offer from Inter to extend him till 2027. I think he will accept that, and the salary is good, 6.5 mil. net.

Did he? I missed that, I though he could be free this summer.

TBH i hate comparing coaches, cause they came in to do different jobs; it is like comparing a coach that can bring a traditional strong team e.g. Italy, France to win the WC better or a coaach that is able to bring an extremely underdog team, e.g. China, Canada, Monaco, Korea to qualify for way more they are expected like semi finals, round of 16 etc.

Cause Lippi did the former, but not the later.
Mainstream will glorify the former though.

I am not too fond of Conte cause his background, and his fanboys that tries to belittle Simone to lift Conte, but I still appreciate his work here and Spalletti's.

My personal favorite is Simone though, even way before this season, but it has to do with his coaching style and tactical style, also his personality.
Like I really like the story back then when he was still a player, his brother said he didn't take the summer off to train harder and improve himself, that was around when Lazio pretty much losing all their stars.
That is the kinda guy you would like him to stick around.

Did you read my whole post? Inter history: Demone>>Conte. What challenges you are talking? On Conte's Inter millions were spend while Inzaghi was losing every summer one or two starters(Hakimi, Lukaku, Perisic... ). Limone got us to final of CL with Dzeko, Mhiki, Darmian, Acerbi. Conte couldnt reach last 16 in CL with this potential first 11: Handa, Skriniar, DeVrij, Bastoni-Hakimi, Barella, Brozo, Eriksen, Perisic-LuLa. Instead od that he played Gags and Young while he would bench Eriksen and Perisic. He ran away like a chicken and you are talking about challenges? Give me a fucking break. Three seasons 6 trophys, CL final>two seasons 1 trophy. I rest my case. One is a fucking coward and mercenary, another is a fucking Inter legend in my book.

Onana/Sommer > Handa(Contes old ass version..... younger Handa stopped us from being embarrassed for 5-6+ years) who some wanted replaced by Radu or anyone at that point of his career

Skriniar under conte kind of sucked and we wanted to sell him or put him in any trade offer we wade

Bastoni was way more green, same with Barella.

Eriksen had just come back from a heart attack and wasn't really great for us.

DiMarco >>>>>>>>>>> Perisic who we wanted to sell for a while then sent on loan because we didnt want him

Lukaku(not a big game player) - Lautaro (not as good as he is now)

so other than Lukaku that year > Thuram now. Inzaghi has a better team. A much better team starting 11 at least.

that being said FK Conte. Him leaving us for Tottenham was insane especially the fact we paid him to leave.

Inzaghi is still kind of green as a coach and hopefully he learned his lesson from Atletico knocking us out this season. He needs to develop his own players and give youth players chances + make subs earlier. Think he will be our coach for a while since he doesnt complain when we sell players and works with what he has.

Sorry about Buchanan, but I want Inter to win next match. Send Sassuolo in Serie B, and then play Marotta and JZ in the attack for all I care.

My argument:

Give Inzaghi an M'Bappe.

Inzaghi with Inter seems like a matchmake in heaven at this point. Absolutely no need for either side to part ways, let's just hope it lasts longer with such intensity of winning trophies and remaining competitive.

I remember being against him before he came here, didn't saw anything special despite his results with Lazio (underestimated how he kept them in title race for 26 rounds before covid hit so rather than giving props to him I gave him lebel of a loser cause of what happened after and cause of some other big games he lost) and had impression that he is always complaining about something after games which annoyed me very much. Idiotic. But I am also sooo glad I was pro Inzaghi very soon after he came and after I saw what he is doing here and I sticked with that during our lows last season.
