If we can keep the squad more in a less intact and we give him an appropriate raise, I’m not so worried about him wanting out.

Member when everyone here thought it was too soon to give him a new deal? it was like 5 months ago.

Maybe it's time we stop thinking too much about all the economic details here and there, and just keep our sight on the bigger picture. Sometimes we will have to pay to sack a coach, but more often than not the trust and stability that come with a longer contract will be worth far more than the risk.

People discount that there were signs of greatness at Lazio. He could have won the league in 2020 if it weren't for covid. And the new 5 subs rule in the middle of that season.

Yeah that 5 subs shit combined with the tight schedule in the summer absolutely wrecked Lazio.

That's a bit of a stretch. When football stopped because of covid Lazio were one point behind Juve. No one knows how the title race would have evolved without covid. Maybe they could have done it or maybe they could have crumbled under pressure the closer they got to a Scudetto.

Also you need to remember Juve were eliminated from CL pretty early so they would also play one game per week post February.

As far as the praise that he’s been getting from abroad, Inzaghi said that “It makes me enormously happy to hear.”
“But I don’t want to hear about Inzaghi. I want to hear about Inter.”

“I’ve always enjoyed watching my teams play,” he added. “That’s what makes me the happiest.”

(y)!! Forza Demone
You make us all happy with the way Inter are playing.

This is the first time in a very long time, maybe even ever, I've been at this stage of a season and really looking forward to the rest of it going asap.

Normally we've had a shit feb, even under Mourinho we were like barely clinging on to the top spot.

How unusual not to have Feb blues.

yeah, the only time we had such a good run was under Conte, which was straight 11 wins from January to March

yeah and of course in that case we werent going to make R16 (already out) so while still very keen on the scudetto run, its a different level of excitement compared to now imho

You'd have to be pretty stupid to think English food is all the food available in England. England - especially around London - probably has the most diverse food range in the world, joint 6th most michelin stars in the world, etc.

But, sure, living in impoverished 15k euros a year as a senior manager in a bank, in a mafia country, that's better.
Fair enough.

I have been to England only a handful of times and I inevitably end up in the pubs eating British food. Probably has more to do with my choice of venue I suppose, given that some of my compatriots like to go on tours or dine at michelin restaurants but I rarely emerge from the bars.

But then you also have the weather and the women. So yeah I'd prefer Italy by a landslide. Spain by the way is even better.
