I support Inzaghi for the most of it, but there are a lot of things that are under his management and went wrong.
I am not talking about how certain players drop in performances for simple things like mis-passing or make big fuck ups, but I am heavily questioning the team's squad doctors, fitness coaches, which is 100% on Inzaghi, even I can argue that things were too uncertain in pre-season to even have a pre-season to figure out everything.
The game plans for most games are actually on spot (kudos to the match analysts too), even for the Bayern (gave us the best shot already) and Roma IMHO, however, before the Roma game, almost every player (except Lautaro and a few others) aren't really playing for the team or their hearts weren't in it, but that is more on Sunning and management, which led to failing in executing the game plan, and it is not due to the plan not working (except for the Udinese game or maybe the Lazio game).
However, his game plan does have some tendencies to neglect the characteristics of the players themselves, which could hinder the performance, easiest example would be De Virj, setting him up with a high d-line is basically amplifying his weakness, compare to playing a low block, and give him a stopper in front, he can freeze Lew while doing cover duties, also his Dzeko fantasy for counter football.
I love how he let
Asllani played against Barca, also he made all the right subs and tactical changes.
I don't think he lost the locker room; the players don't hate him.
