That Supercup is a fucking joke, we'll travel and have games non stop while Juve plays one game per week. We have a better team but honestly, I would send a B team to Saudi Arabia for this joke of a trophy.

Not that I disagree but that "cup" is gaining more money than Coppa in less matches. But why you guys are supporting the latter than this one? Prestige of an Europa League ticket at its best?

Fuck both of them is my opinion. Scudetto or nothing.

Had a look at the table/stats, and having scored 44 goals while only conceding 9 is absolutely insane.

If it weren’t for Juve breathing down our necks, I’d be absolutely ecstatic.
48 points at this point is the 3rd best point tally we gathered at this point ever since the 38 games era started. The only rival we haven't beaten so far this season is Juventus...which means we really did great against others.

Altho soon I will start calling Bologna one of our rivals too

The only thing I'm scared about right now is that Inzaghi's Inter always has a dip in form in the upcoming next 11 rounds of January and February, while Conte's winning season Inter won ALL of these rounds, which was about the time that made me think we were really winning it.

So what Inzaghi needs to achieve is making Inter win more than just 14 points (happened both times) in these 11 games. Preferably at least 24 points should be achieved, otherwise we are out of the Scudetto race.

I want the Derby against Milan on Gameday 33 to be confirmation of us winning the Scudetto. It's doable.

We have indeed had a very good start to the season, objectively by many metrics. I think most of the anxiety comes from a slump in recent matches and our/ Inzaghi’s reputation for poor form in the winter months. The monkey will always be on your back until you prove you can do it. It’s normal for people to be nervous, but overall we are playing very well. If we recede into the fetal stage, it won’t be on the coach alone.

Atm I'm hoping Buchanan being here and Dimarco coming back means us scoring more goals again.

The biggest worry right now is our central defender and our attack when bench players are involved. To an extent Hakan not really being at his best as well.

It's going to be hard. We have Monza, (Lazio), Fiorentina, Juventus, Roma, Salernitana, (Atletico), Lecce, Atalanta, Genoa, Bologna, (Atletico), Napoli, Empoli. These are the dreaded 11 rounds this time. Truly, if we don't gather at least 24 here, this is going to be a catastrophe, but it's also a very hard schedule compared to what Juve has.

Juve has (Frosinone), Sassuolo, Lecce, Empoli, Inter, Udinese, Verona, Frosinone, Napoli, Atalanta, Genoa, Lazio... This seems easier than what we have going on. Hopefully Napoli gets their shit together and do some damage, we need help from them. Others? Yikes

"Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi feels that a good pitch helped his team play their football against Monza yesterday evening.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN after the match, via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri lauded the quality of the pitch that allowed a high-quality passing game.

In recent matches, Inter have occasionally suffered the effects of a less-than-ideal pitch.

This has particularly been the case given the current state of the pitch at the San Siro.

The stadium that Inter share with city rivals AC Milan sees plenty of use. And this has frequently led to some issues in terms of wear and tear.

That has been the case this January.

And in fact, the clubs intend to resurface the pitch in the next week or so whilst the Nerazzurri are in Saudi Arabia for the Supercoppa Italiana.

But there were no problems with the pitch yesterday evening at the U-Power Stadium.

Inzaghi said that “We work a lot, and we tune out all the chatter.”

“Last Saturday we didn’t play very well against Verona,” he admitted. “And this time around we found a great pitch here.in Monza.”

Inzaghi suggested that “The last two matches at home at the San Siro, at the Olimpico, and in Genoa there were imperfections, but in Monza it was perfect and we played very well.”

“We’re a very technical team like to play well in possession. And even out of possession we did very well.”

Inzaghi noted that “There was a lot of talk about Inter during the week.”

“But we worked well in training,” he continued. “We prepared for this match in the best way possible in five days, and I was calm this morning.”

The Inter coach then added that “We trained lightly. But I was confident.”

“The team was focused,” Inzaghi said. “We knew we were facing a quality opponent, and we had a good start to the match right away.”

And as far as the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana, Inzaghi said that “We’re the holders of that title for the last two season.”

“Now it’s a new format, but we were aware that would be the case.”

“But we go to Saudi Arabia with confidence, knowing that we’re playing against three other teams in good form who will do everything to lift the trophy. But so will we.”

Third best coach according to FIFA; and still some thinks he is not good enough.
Anyway bring us the second star and shut all the haters up!
Why are you surprised?

The dude that is one of the first to criticize and said that he should be sacked even if he won the UCL last season is in the Sensi thread still stuck on some delusion of him being a good football player.

Inzhagi is one of the best coaches we’ve had in the modern era, yet there’s calls for him to be sacked every time he doesn’t win a game.

I like Inzaghi, but I hate lists. Do with this information what you can.

Indeed. Inzaghi needs a significant trophy to evolve from a "good" to "top" coach. Which means Scudetto, Europa League or Champions League :)

Otherwise he is just as good as Pochettino some years ago.
