Sharing my pain with Interisti brotherhood

On Monday, my grandmother lost her battle with a bad heart [not sure how to describe the specifics in English]. Growing up so close to her, I've taken it pretty bad and will be going to NY next week for a huge funeral for her (people from Canada, US and Haiti all need to make the trip, hence why we're waiting a week to have it).

I'll probably be gone for a week or two starting next week. Just wanted to let you guys know of my current mood. Quickly venting, if you will.....

My Grandparents passed away in the last year too but unlike you I wasn't close to them so it didn't affect me a whole lot.

I sadly never experienced having grandparents. Both my grandfathers died in their late 20's, and I saw my grandmothers only a handful of times before they too passed away.

My case is similar to yours in a way, I'm very close with my grandparents (fathers side) as they were the ones who practically raised me.
