I think it will be tougher than the Coppa game as Samp were missing a few players in that one. Lets hope our momentum carries us into the game with Roma on a high note.

This game can be an important boost for the game against Roma, we should present our strongest line up since the Coppa problem was solved by our great performance on wednesday. The best way to go is to try to solve the game in the first half so we can save some players like Burdisso and Stankovic from getting an yellow card.

However let's not forget that winning this game is essential to keep Roma's hopes down, so that they feel that we are in a great moment and that the Scudetto may already be a lost cause for them.

Roma have closed the gap, we need to win to keep the gap as wide as possible. Hopefully Burdisso and Javier are fit enough to start this one. We are going to need a solid peformance from everyone involved.

In the past, I used to criticize Mancini for not putting in-form players in the starting line-up due to either favoritism or simply pure idiocy. Also, for tinkering and experimenting with the tactics in a big match (EuroDerby II 2nd leg, anyone?).

So, the reverse should happen when Mancini does the reverse too. Big up to Mancini for sticking with his 4-3-1-2 this season, and for choosing the most in-form players. It happened earlier with Crespo over Adriano and now, Burdisso over Cordoba and Maxwell over Grosso.
