If you want to understand how provincial Inter have become, all you have to do is look at the result against Milan and the follow up result against Sampdoria.

The only thing that matters to this team is beating Milan. It’s ashame they did not understand that last season when they had the lead and the Scudetto was on the line.

Horror show of a performance. Pathetic.
Actually I like how we played most of the match, as we created enough chances, but the concentration was missing.

Second half was beyond pathetic. But I would agree on first half. We created so many clear opportunities and also dominated the game by far. That doesn't mean much anyways because Samp are pure trash, but still there was occasions while we played very beautiful football. Such a shame that we couldn't convert at least once out of all these chances. The match would have gone in a different direction had we scored early but it is what it is.

However in the second half we were basically headless chickens. Limone's substitutions were useless as well. Sometimes I say that we cannot blame him because of poor solutions but then again, he isn't even trying to figure out what's the best for this team once the match is on-going. He's just throwing players in unaccordingly to what's neccessary.

It's quite worrying to me that we have almost never been a competitive team in the second half. Our tempo, desire to win and everything else goes down the hill in the second half. When you count in substitutions as well, then it gets even worse. Limone has to address this issue because it's been a while now.

We played some good football in the first 20-25 min of the first half (like in almost every match), but of course our players cant socre when they get thier first chance, after that point evertying went to hell (like in almost every match) , its pretty much the same as every inter game, start good in the first minutes and then back to play in clowns mode and its dosent even matter if we on the lead or not, this team is not trained at all...

Now come to think of it Milan is overall actually worse than Sampdoria.
We still do not have a finisher and thats on Lukaku because that is why we brought him back.

next game vs Udinese, we must play again the shitters (Lukaku, Gags and co), because after that we have the CL game with Porto which is more important.

We again too fucking wasteful...
and it ended 0-0.
Not being able to score 1 goal against most certain relegation candidates makes me think it`s the chinese earning dirty money on betting schemes or we`re helping Deki keep his job. OR BOTH.
You simply cannot show up like this after having more than a week to prepare this match against 19th place side!!!
This result is unacceptable.

Manager seems out of depth and uninspired. Useless subs.
Looked like some of the guys had a weekend bender with tons of alcohol. If the players are indeed unprofessional, throw them into ritiro, fine them, sanction them!
This shitshow must stop NOW.
5 more mins of this and then I’ll go wash the dishes with it in the background. I’m beginning to understand what kind of evening this is.
Such a boring and pathetic football that around minute 60 I fell asleep and woke up at 6 AM on the sofa!

Replace Mkhitaryan with Brozovic. That way they can all flap their arms in sync, like penguins at feeding time in a zoo.
Thank you for cracking this joke, MUCH NEED and well taken!!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Can someone explain to me what Inzaghi tried to do when he brought on Carboni in injury time?

Yea, i also said, the problem we not have killers strikers, lautaro need like 2-3 good chances to score only 1 goal, lukaku is pretty much the same, i think dzeko is ok in this aspect, the problem is that when we keep waste our chances, we cant get same chances in the rest of the match...

We're utterly, utterly incapable of putting together consistent performances and what's worse is that we're PREDICTABLY INCONSISTENT. Beat Napoli, draw to Monza, beat Milan, lose to Empoli, beat Milan, draw to Sampdoria. Pack of fucking divas.
Reflecting on this post, it might just be that Milan are really, really shit.

My work environment: I enjoy collaborating with a certain IT company because is non-blame policy and it`s enforced by the management.
When someone fucks up, he knows. We try to cover for each other instead of poking their eyes out.

There's only one word for that and it's "unprofessional". These guys have overblown egos from one scudetto and a couple of useless super coppa. They act and talk like champions but when things don't go their way they start getting petulant and turn on each other.

It says a hell of a lot that everyone knew this game was destined to be a disappointment after we failed to score those nice chances in the first 5 minutes. If one of them had gone in, we probably would've won 4-0. But no, after the excitement of the initial flurry was not rewarded with a goal, heads predictably dropped and all composure and mentality went out the window.

I'd like to give a special mention to Barella for ruining the match. I don't care how bad Lukaku was (I'd give him a 5.5) but you don't hysterically scream and rant and lash out at teammates like that. It's childish as fuck, completely unbecoming and it's embarrassing to watch a so-called captain acting in such a manner. Worst of all, it is absolute cancer to your teammates and brings down the entire mood of the group, doubly so when things are not going your way.

I have never been a Lukaku fan, even when he was banging in goals in a scudetto winning campaign. I despise the fact that he's even at this club, and that we effectively chose him over Dybala. It makes me literally sick to think of the money we wasted on bringing him back. I consider him to be one of the most finished top athletes in world sports. And yet, despite all this, I'm firmly taking his side on this one.

I don't give a fuck how bad he is, what Barella does is just unforgiveable in team sports. Watching him throw tantrums like a toddler - worst of all, AT his teammates - is one of the most unlikeable things I've seen on a football pitch. It's why my general affection for him (separate to how I rate him as a footballer), has completely stagnated since 2021 or so.
This is from the Sampdoria match thread and thought that needs to be in here. 100% agreed.

Club needs to sanction Barella because it`s not the first time this happens. Otherwise they`ll lose credibility in front of other players.

Well, alright.

Is there much point watching league games from now on? I'm confident enough we'll get Top 4 (not because we're good, but because everyone else is shit), and this is genuinely depressing.

The worst thing is we are inconsistent even during the same game. We started the game very well, we missed many chances early, we had a good first half in general. Then in second half nothing. As if it was another match. And we have seen this act many times in the last two years.

Someone said in the live thread if we had scored early we would win 4-0. I don't think so. We have seen it in other games before. We start match well, we score early then we stop playing and rest on our laurels and wake up only when the opponent misses a huge chance or scores. Is it a fitness issue? Is it a mental issue? I don't know the root of the problem but i can't see how it can get solved without changing the coach or the players.

Thats Lazio mentality that Limone succesfully implanted in our DNA.

I think it was 5, but only 2 iirc were decent.
The only saves I recal where speculative shots from acerbi and Hakan where you expect the keeper to save. He wasn't tested at all.
