This Lautaro is so overrated striker.
He's not overrated tho. Objective fans don't really rate him very highly. He's consistently inconsistent and that's nothing new.

If only we could have signed in the summer a player who could win you games with his creativity and individual brilliance. Oh, wait...

Overall, it is a bad coaching from Inzaghi. Playing Darmian against this relegation side is pathetic. Dumfries should have started to provide more offensive play. Bastoni should have been there too. his forward running and crossing is much better than Acerbi on the left CB. Late substitution as well. we look too relaxed and lack of grit or determination. Inzaghi really likes to choke.

that last moment from Martinez is just ridiculous. Carboni is very open next to him but he made very poor decision. this kind of game actually will help us in the late stage of league. too bad we just wasted it.
I can't put it to bad coaching when we have 5 shots on target and 14 off target. There were plenty of opportunities to score and that's what the coach can affect. To put team on the pitch and make them play in a way which will generate goal scoring chances while minimizing opponents'. IMO that's what happened today.

Bro, that's basically two things this club is allergic to. Don't even think about it. Not at least there is a change of philosophy in the entire club.

This is why Toro cannot be the first striker, he has these nights. Toro cannot carry this team every game with goals. We need a finisher next to him. But a player like Lukaku cannot be that because he fucking sucks.

He has to take responsibility for how flat and letarghic we looked. Why did we play with no desire almost to get the win, no urgency.

Also,
Beat Napoli - draw with monza.
Beat milan 3-0 - lose to empoli
Beat milan - draw with samp.

What in under fuck? That's on inzaghi

I refer you to post #1 of this thread. We convincingly beat our archrivals and then with a full 8 days to prepare we go and play like this against the 19th placed side.

Our recent record is:
- Napoli (big team) Win
- Monza (small team) Draw
- Milan (big team) Win
- Empoli (small team) Loss
- Milan (big team) Win
- Samp (small team) Draw

There's only one word for that and it's "unprofessional". These guys have overblown egos from one scudetto and a couple of useless super coppa. They act and talk like champions but when things don't go their way they start getting petulant and turn on each other.

It says a hell of a lot that everyone knew this game was destined to be a disappointment after we failed to score those nice chances in the first 5 minutes. If one of them had gone in, we probably would've won 4-0. But no, after the excitement of the initial flurry was not rewarded with a goal, heads predictably dropped and all composure and mentality went out the window.

I'd like to give a special mention to Barella for ruining the match. I don't care how bad Lukaku was (I'd give him a 5.5) but you don't hysterically scream and rant and lash out at teammates like that. It's childish as fuck, completely unbecoming and it's embarrassing to watch a so-called captain acting in such a manner. Worst of all, it is absolute cancer to your teammates and brings down the entire mood of the group, doubly so when things are not going your way.

I have never been a Lukaku fan, even when he was banging in goals in a scudetto winning campaign. I despise the fact that he's even at this club, and that we effectively chose him over Dybala. It makes me literally sick to think of the money we wasted on bringing him back. I consider him to be one of the most finished top athletes in world sports. And yet, despite all this, I'm firmly taking his side on this one.

I don't give a fuck how bad he is, what Barella does is just unforgiveable in team sports. Watching him throw tantrums like a toddler - worst of all, AT his teammates - is one of the most unlikeable things I've seen on a football pitch. It's why my general affection for him (separate to how I rate him as a footballer), has completely stagnated since 2021 or so.

What was wrong with today's setup? I just stated the stats of this match. One of those shots go in and we're talking about a totally different situation. To me it didn't look like they lacked hunger or anything. We created A TON. Inzaghi cannot come into the pitch and put that ball to the net. Players need to do that part.

I don't understand how he hasn't been kicked around a pitch or training pitch yet. I posted the pics of him putting his hands in lautaros face at training, no doubt he was doing some bullshit then too. He's like 5'6 and 10 stone, he'd get absolutely battered. But yes, for such a good player I can't warm to him because of the way he behaves.

Actually we apparently had 25 shooting attempts.

This draw is 99% on the players and 1% on the coach. But in a typical way some always like to blame the coach for the lost points. A senior player should know how to do basic football at this stage. The way we constantly made poor decisions on the final third had nothing to do with the setup. Just a bunch of players earning more than they deserve and thinking they're better than they actually are and can play cute instead of playing effective when the latter is more important than the former.

Lautaro
I'd normally blame Inzaghi for the setup, especially for not playing Bastoni, but this loss is on players, especially strikers. Lautaro was not in the mood. I hope him and Barella don't have a serious beef
