Perisic really fucked up a decent chance in that first half. When's the last time he took on a defender? Haven’t seen him turn on the after burners and roast someone for pace in a while.

Brozovic started slow, seemed like he was content letting the game be played around him. Started to come to life a little bit more about half way through the 1st. Nothing super special but a few good balls and no real mistakes so far.

Thats been his role all tournament, its extra with Croatia because he is practically playing by himself in-front of the defense.

I agree with u as well, he should have stayed on, could have also helped in the PKs at the end.

Its great to see players who can control the ball and make simple passes, making good passes is a bonus.

This like mexico going full force in first two match and then gassed out in third match. Croat doing full speed in first three match and now they run out stamina already look confused unlike the team from group stages. Think in tournament like this its better start slowly and step up the game match by match.

I was surprised how bleak Poland looked compared to Denmark in qualification games, I dont think any team can have it easy against them
