Croatia are a much better team but I wouldn't be surprised to see them struggle as Denmark will surely play defensively.

Bookies are now giving Argentina equal to or better odds than Croatia to win the whole thing. Lmfao.

If Croatia had a real striker people would be busting nuts left and right over them

Shame Kalinic has completely fallen off. I thought he was a better fit for their style than Mandzukic

I hope Croatia is focused on their own game rather than defending Eriksen with 2 players as we experienced earlier in the tournament from Peru and Australia. That might give us a slim chance but Croatia is definetely the favourite.

Don't think that will be case. Croatia are arguably the best team in world cup this year and they have taken the game to opposition in every game. Don't think it will be any different against Denmark.

What will not be the case? The underdog do always have a chance. Remember Euro '92? ;) I think Croatia will be focused on their attacking part of the game and by that I hope Denmark will be able to have one or two chances by counter attacking. Eriksen is great in terms of freekicks and cornerkicks which is great with the amount of tall players we have. That will be our best chance.

As said Croatia is clearly the favourite. 80-20 or 85-15 IMO.

I meant 2 players defending Eriksen. I guess Croatia will dominate the game as they have very good players and midfield, Denmark lack that. So don't think man marking Eriksen will be an option for Croatia.

Yeah, Eriksen set pieces and also his long shots from outside the box are quality. Hopefully he will have a great game but with Croatia winning.

Edit: Not writing off Denmark btw, like you mentioned underdogs will always have chance, especially in these knock out games.

The difference between having class and being arrogant is clearly shown when the Croatian players talk about Denmark compared to France.

Pogba:
"Denmark is a very good team. They have quality players. But we are the Team of France and I know that they look at us a lot. They want to be first and so are we. The last match will be very good and very important."

Corluka:
"There are no easy opponents. Many think it's an easier opponent than the French, but when we look at how these smaller teams are playing, like Morocco, Iran ...".

Perisic:
"We have five days to analyze them well and prepare for all possible scenarios. We watched a little match between Denmark and France, as much as we could. A hard team, but we have today rested nine players, so I think it will be a lot better. We knew that they played only long balls."

Man, I hope Corluka and Perisic will be crying if this "small team" kicks their asses with their "longballs" up in their tiny Croatian butts.

It's not like you are getting to hit that if they win
