With all due respect to his contributions so far, but just thinking about him staying in the offside during a fucking corner, in a game that we have to score a goal to qualify and would give us an opportunity to cut back our financial loses, and he just simply prevented that from happening due to his lazy ass makes me lose all the respect that I have for him and just wish him out of the club.

Yeah, once you notice some things it's too hard to unsee them

Oh come off that bullshit! He didn't intentionally aim to block the goal, y'all need to scale back this rubbish rhetoric. He was just stupidly ball-watching when he should have been able to read the play. It's going into the film room and analysis and he will certainly have to take the hit for this and keep it moving. Like Zlatan said, this game is almost 70% mental fortitude so he needs to refocus and do what's demanded of him now that it's like this. I repeat - our failure of qualification from the group was almost entirely down to Conte and his tactical inability, Lukaku was basically almost a non-factor in my opinion.

Why do you think I'm putting all the blame on him? it's basically 98% on Conte and his incompetent tactics, but it's just as someone here already mentioned, it's the recurrent pattern of choking where it matters the most.
Happened last year against Barcelona, in the EL final and now this. Who knows, he might also cost us the Scudetto in a similar way.

He's getting memed, but according to the same rules that help us beat Gladbach last week, Lukaku would have been offside and entering with play and the goal would not have stood.

This discussion over Lukaku needs to stop to be honest.
Yes maybe he has failed to lead the team in the final/decisive matches but that doesn't make him a scape goat ffs.

He is a great and valid striker , that said he is not CR7 nor Messi. Very few players can reach that kind of level and influence in important moments.
That doesn't mean that all the rest are useless.

When you find a player like CR7 and Messi you spoil him as much as you can. For all the rest you got to be pleased with what they offer and accept their limitations. It's not his fault that our whole gameplay depends on him.

Yes it would have been offside, the question is what the fuck was Lukaku doing in the offside position in the first place? Looking the whole play, it was a corner kick from Eriksen and Lukaku stood at that point the whole time when ball flew through the air to first Alexis' head and then Lukaku's head.

He shouldn't be there like that, in the middle of everything in OFFSIDE POSITION. If it wasn't Alexis' header, it could have been some ricochet ball and offside again.

He's a good striker to have when playing against average teams where he will score goals but he's never going to help us in clutch moments he just doesn't have it in him.
There's pictures of him circulating around the web where he's doing the same exact thing he did before Alexis hit him. Surely a Conte tactic? Him standing in an offside position during corners. Has to be right? :chan:

Isn’t that why everyone is critiquing him though? Doesn’t really matter if the ball hits him in the head, stomach, foot, or flies past him - the issue was his movement and lack of awareness. Him getting hit in the head just made it more humorous.

Laughing at own striker's bad luck... with such fans you don't need juventini or milanisti to mock you.

So sack Lukaku? This is exactly the kind of intelligent, mature argument I have come to expect from FIF these days.

Seriously tho, what the fuck is going on these days? Have the mods reduced the minimum age of membership or something, or have we been infiltrated by some Rube fans?

Honestly, I'm finding it hilarious how you're blaming the guy who literally carries us on his back week in and week out for making a single mistake when Lautaro had like four opportunities to get a decent shot in and blasted them off to row Z.

You really deserve Rocchi and Belfodil.

Yes, because Rocchi and Belfodil cost us 150m to have around...

Lukaku carrying us on his back is an expired joke, try another one.

P.S:
Lautaro + Sanchez > Lautaro + Lukaku or Lukaku + Sanchez. Go figure...
