Some frustrating moments from him but he picked out Lautaro with an inch perfect cross and then left Romagnoli in his dust which is extremely satisfying considering how much Milanisti hype their captain like he’s the second coming of Nesta.

If him and Lautaro continue to do what they did yesterday, the scudetto will be in our sights sooner rather than later.

To be fair, thats an old story. Most Milanisti I know want Romagnoli sold and would have preferred to start Tomori over him in the derby. Not all Milanisti are delusional.

WHAT!? There is still people here who appreciate your posts in silence. Please, show us your view of his performance.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Lukaku as a player but maybe Inter has made me a masochist and because I want to know how critics view him. No one is perfect and I want to know what he did wrong today so I also can know when he evolves into a King.

It's nice to see you stopped laughing at brehme's football award and accepted that a lot of other people respect his opinion. That's growth.

I think it's safe to admit that Lukaku is a dysfunctionally effective player.

The concerns with him is that he doesn't step up when needed but only after the job is done much more often than not and he's not being very helpful when we need to do something. He's not inspiring as someone said somewhere yesterday and as many have noticed, he's being more of the opposite when he's getting frustrated over nothing.

He's a player that the box score loves and he loves the box score, but that still doesn't make him world class or anything. There is a drought of great strikers for almost a decade now so he may still stand out over a bunch of the alternatives, like Morata for example who is the complete opposite. He does everything Lukaku does not, is not really problematic in the build up of the game or whining at anyone. But the dude can barely score. At the end of the day people will rate goalscoring over anything else, so it makes sense that Lukaku is hyped as long as the goals come. But they need to come when it matters, too. In a leading manner as well if people want their hyping up to be relative to actual performance.

Can you guys, just for once, give him a break? We fucking won 3-0 vs. Milan, we are 4 points clear on top and he scored and assisted. Jesus.

You know...Sorry for bringing a bit of politics here but I thought that it was because of Trump that the world has become very extreme lately (You're either extreme left or right). But reading the past few pages of this thread has reminded me that football fans have always been very polarized even before 2016. :D

Lukaku is Lukaku. He is not the best striker ever, nor is he a useless fuck. He's Milan's scourge, but he sucks vs Juve. He's capocannoniere as of now, but he has had some dry patches. But there is no denying that he is currently Serie A's best striker and over the past 2 years, he has had significant contribution towards our campaign. Let's not get overboard by his performance, but also we gotta give credit when it's due.

As for his attitude, obviously I'd prefer it if our players are all holding hands singing Kumbayas but as long as they get the job done, you can whine as much as you want.

What in the fuck nonsense is this. Not useful when we need him, only useful when game is won, are you fucking serious?
He created the first goal from nothing, done it all himself and placed an inch perfect cross on lautaro head. Held the ball up for the second goal and laid it off nicely. The third goal was an absolute beauty.
Also seen you earlier in the week diminishing his goal last season for the 4-2, like we have never conceded late goals and always hold on to our 1 goal leads. Not like Milan scored in the 97th minute against us a few years back either.
Brehme, hide your bias for one fucking day at least. It's unbearable. It's even funnier because you directly credited icardi for mbappes hat trick goal for just staying out of the fucking way yet you piss on lukakus last two games. Absolutely disgusting bias, I've already seen you this season complain about decisions in inters favour and Ive no doubt lukaku doing well secretly hurts you.

Icardi is a genius who apparently moves so well and lets other people score. He is an intelligent creature who just has to exist on the pitch, and suddenly the whole football game has a meaning...

I just want to see Icardi score the same goals and make the same build up play that Lukaku does for us atm.

Chill. Let's not go through the whole debate again. I'll say as soon as Lukaku hits Icardi Inter numbers, he deserves the same praise Icardi got. I believe we all agree on that, to a degree, especially since Lukaku seems to score at a faster rate.

Do we have a thread with names of every goalscorer for every game? It's time to revisit some of the stats

It's not about directly comparing them. It's more a follow on from varmins beautiful post where we seen the absolute disparity of brehmes opinions on both performances and just highlighted the bias, hence why I brought that into discussion again.

Forget about Lukaku, I am just waiting to see when he will surpass Moise Kean, with 16 goals atm :D

Can we put this whole Lukaku saga to bed and actually enjoy watching football without one side or the other getting agitated ?

No one in their right mind will ever say that a player is wholly without fault , they are not cyborgs.

Even though he is frustrating at times have to pay credit to him to for his confidence to keep trying until it does click.

We have all seen many players coming off the back of a few dry patches which knocks their confidence for 6 and they get stuck in that mindset for ages.

Love him or hate him , that's our Lukaku

The irony when you compare this to the Brozovic thread....

That goal man. Imagine a train running at you full throttle and then somehow the train shoots a missile in the bottom left corner. Beast.

What irony man?
Nobody says do not critique Lukaku when he deserves it. I also did it recently but to pinpoint every single mistake of him provided he scored 3 goals, created a penalty and bagged two assists in two super-important games is too much and is biased as fuck.
Why you did this only about Lukaku? I've never seen you in Brozovic's or Lautaro's (or whoever else from the squad) thread to highlight every single mistake, wrong run or wrong positioning. And don't tell me that they don't have any.

Even 3-0 up, I saw Lukaku defending and chasing after players. Highly impressive to say the least.
Lukaku has proponents and opponents, he is a very polarizing player: swinging his arms and shouting at teammates vs welcoming teammates, granting penalties and missing easy chances vs great goals (like against bBilan), so on so on...

Lukaku embodies pazza Inter like no other player. :)

Because this is the only thread where overreactions of this sort exist.

I do make those comments on the match threads and even in the player threads, but since no one fanboys these guys and no one will go to absurd levels to defend their deficiencies, you don't see this constantly being an issue.

The only other case where this happens a lot is with Handanovic. The other way round.
