Also, should we change the back line to a 4 man defense in favor of supporting the midfield with more personnel? Can we achieve a smooth display after playing with a back 3 for this long?

I'm almost sure Benassi wont play against roma. They play at home and certainly attack us from the very start. Then, we will see our usual Inter defend and counter them.
The most probable formation :

Handanovic
Chivu/Cambiasso - Ranocchia - Juan
Zanetti - Guarin - Cambiasso/Mudingayi - Gargano - Pereira
Cassano - Palacio​

And I dont see fitness as big issue here. We play on Tuesday and Roma match is on Sunday. The interval should be enough for recovery unless Strama goes insane imposing FelixMagath physical training from dawn to dusk.

I havent seen much of Roma play this season but I think to stop them is to do a counter on them. We should do another jube at rome. I'd start with a 3 back with cuchu in between frog and jj with jz and pereira on wings. That would give a more flexible formation 3-4 def line with 4-3 def line. As cuchu could just move up higher than frog and jj. Then the cm part will be easier to fill in too. G14 will take 1 spot. So 2 more to fill.

Felix Magath's hard torture sessions are even known in Argentina?

I believe even Cassano would already have recovered on Sunday. It is 4 days interval and he even had rest yesterday as he stood on the pitch doing nothing.

man i hope inter wins this one...i hate roma. i had an exchange week in rome and guess what week it was? the freaking week where inter lost 2-5 against shalke and i was watching the match with the roma fans...and plus they embarassed us with that 4-0 in the olimpico and the 1-3 was shit too, so i guess it is payback time

I know.. I know... wtf Jonathan? What can we do if Nagatomo is in doubt? Remember Zanetti against Totti & Balzaretti at the Meazza this season? It cost us the match. I guess this will be a very tactical game and require a lot of discipline in our defensive play and finishing off our counters.
