In Germany there are finally some reports that Union Berlin is "pretty far" in their talks of signing Gosens. Only negative aspect: It's reported that they are offering a loan (not clear if option or obligation) and that we have to pay parts of his salary.

So to sum it up: A nother master transfer by our management in the making

Not big deal but we couldn’t just rely on Dimarco for whole season, now left side has same problem as right side with substitution rarely bringing new fire to game.

Terrible deal. We can't find better players for cheaper. Why not simply keep him but give discount?!?

Numbers don't feel great in this one but it's surely interesting to see how this pans out. If our demand is as modest as it seems, I could guess the book value of Gosens isn't over 20m€ or something. Maybe the deal included some bonuses which are not yet activated and we might want to get rid of him before that moment. So that we can basically erase him from our books without minusvalenza?

The lack of interest from other clubs man. We need Eintracht Frankfurt to step in and make a good offer.

Breaking even is basically the only we can ask for a player who sadly hasn't lived up to the expectations and is not getting younger.

If we were in a bit better situation, I'd love to keep him just for the good vibes. But we don't, so reshuffle our deck with Parisi or Augusto is a necessary sideway move which offers some upside potential.

Di Marzio - Union Berlin has made an official offer to the player, who would be willing to find an agreement with the German team.
Much more difficult, however, the negotiation with Inter, with which there have been no contacts at the moment.
The Nerazzurri value the German full-back at 15 million euros, a figure that at the moment Union Berlin does not seem willing to reach.

Don't have one.
15 mil is more than decent pricing from us. If they don't have that type of money, move to the next club, i m sure he will have other offers. He didn't really accommodate to inzaghi ball, but he ain't sub 15 mil player either.

It was always wishful thinking Union would spend 15-20m because they will play in CL.

15 is fair, but like people mentioned, Union wont pay that much. The best i can see is 12M and thats with some bonuses... Lets hope Wolfsburg joins the race.

Why do we sell him for 15 if we bought him for 27?
