Why is he not supposed yo go watch a Juve - Barca game? oh right, we went over this already. Just chill. He loves football and he knows some of the italian players that played in that game. There isn't anything malicious here.

I think people are unhappy with him because of his "like" in the instagram post where rube are celebrating.

He had a decent first half, but then he was being overrun in the second half, but it was nothing like what's being described here.

Children, not everything is black and white, God, why do you need to throw your bottle out of the crib we were playing away to Juventus.

Decent first half?? What was decent about it? Misplacing every second pass? Miscontrolling every single ball? Missing a sitter? Nothing decent about it.

Actually, he had 24 passes, from which 20 successful, only 4 misplaced passes, and higher percentage than Mario, and had 2 bad touches from 36 times. Not really 50% passing percentage or miscontrolling every single ball.

That being said, he wasn't good or solid for that matter, but wasn't as bad as people claim he was. That sitter tho, totally killed his Inter career, as I said earlier. Maybe should have fallen and get a pen.

Actually he played decently the situation. His shot was placed thus so the golie haven't had a chance to catch it. He was unlucky to hit the post thou. It happens.
Perisic's attempt was much worse.

Agreed, watching the replays I thought it was Icardi shooting at first. It was a good attempt, quite unlucky not to score.

He scuffed the shot though, it was poorly executed, looks like he kicks the ground first. He was one on one less than 10 yards out, there is no excuse for missing

The guy is only fit to sit in front of the defence, tackle and give the ball simply to others. He doesn't have the ability to do anything else and thus shouldn't be let pass the halfway line. I've watched him play several times in a 4-3-3 for Inter and Italy this year, and bar the Genoa game he was rubbish.

He's just another Poli and a player whom we need to move on.

This is acutally the mistake we are making with him over and over again; we are givinig him too much defensive responsibilty.
From the first Moment at Inter you could see that he is a box to box midfielder with decent running, decent long passing range, a good vision for rushing wingers or full backs, and a great sense for getting into dangerous positions infront of the opponent's goal. Yes, he is able to tackle, but it is just not his main attribute.

I remember him having at least a clear cut chance almost every game the first season we got him. But instead on working on his strength and developing a dangerous midfielder in the attacking phase, everyone insists to make him a somewhat defensive midfielder.

The game against Juventus showed it perfectly: he was very present in the last third when we were not pressed, and was one of the worse players on the pitch as soon as we got pressed. As long as we don't finally accept he is not the player we wish to see in him, he will never thrive.

We need midfielder ala Kondogbia to shine him in midfield.

Other than that, he is suck, Especially when he paired with Vecino.

He is not a Defensive Midfielder. Spalletti task him Kondogbia role to him, because Kdog already gone.

And He not suited for that.

You will see in this Video. Gagliardini have different task..

He even cross the ball, and you will not see that now.

Quality of opposition matters. I said that earlier in the thread. Gags can play vs Frosinone and Chievo. Once the competition ramps up, his quality isn't good enough.

Essentially, a atalanta/fiorentina level player.

You’re totally ignoring fact that he should have at least 40-50 passes in that game considering he’s CM, never mentioned how many from his 20 passes were actually attacking passes and not just alibi passes to the back just to get rid of the ball.

He had 36 touches and only 2 were bad? Almost every time he recieved the ball it just bounced from his leg like from the tree, only difference from the tree is that he hustled, slide all around the place to gain it back. Kudos to that but remains the fact that ruined flow of the game for us.

He and Mario did the same thing with passing, it was mostly back and when they passed forward it was mostly slow and not precise enough. When we needed fast trough ball we would get slow, behind back ball, for our wingers. They didn’t even watch Icardi.

That’s how I saw the game, stats hide bunch of things.

I am shocked there are no offers for our jewel. How the fuck we managed to spend so much money on the midfielder who have almost same characteristics like Ranochia?

According to Pedulla, Inter rejected a 25m offer for Gagliardini yesterday evening even though it would give Inter capital gains.

That would get us, what, €8m or so? I would take it. But who would pay €25m for Gagliardini at this moment in time?

As for people suggesting we include him in some trade deal for Barella, it might work, but such a deal could fall through depending on the players stance to the move. Who even knows if Gagliardini would accept such a drastic downwards career move? Cagliari are a further step down from mid-table teams and 4-8th place hopefuls like Lazio, Samp or Fiorentina. He's also a fairly regular NT player.

Should be around 11 mio profit.

And i totally agree with you I dont see gags taking such a step back! Dont think he d accept cagliary I mean that would even be a step down from atalanta where he was before joining us. Maybe he ll accept the fiores/samps if they guarantee him a starting spot.

Anyways getting offers for him can only be a good thing since imho in summer 2 out of Vecino, Gags, Borja and Mario should go and if we can make a decent profit off them even better.
