Inter Rule Out Roberto Gagliardini Sale Amidst Interest From Fiorentina

Inter have decided that Italian international central midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is not for sale, at least until the end of the season, Sky Sport Italia’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

According to the report, it can not be excluded that several clubs and Fiorentina in particular, have asked Inter if there is a possibility to sign the former Atalanta midfielder. However, any requests have been turned down in no uncertain terms by the Nerazzurri directors, making their position crystal clear that he is not for sale during this transfer window.

In conclusion Di Marzio reports that Gagliardini will stay with Inter at least until the end of June and the opening of the summer transfer window, at which point all bets are off.

Roberto Gagliardini joined Inter in January 2017, leaving childhood club Atalanta and has since then made 58 appearances for the Nerazzurri across all competitions, scoring four goals in the process.

And if things change and he is sold, then Inter would be forced to look for a replacement: Benassi is an option while Barella is for the summer, not immediate future.

Well the problem is Fiorentina want 60m + Gagliardini for Chiesa. Too much money for him. If we're willing to spend so much on a winger we should go after better players than Chiesa.

Gags + 35m€ should be more than enough. Even that's a gross overpayment in the sense that if we see some value in Gags.

Why mediocre player like Ranocchia, Gagliardini, Dalbert and even Candreva eager to stay here for the rest of their career rejecting all offer and Inter just accepting it. Inter always being soft to these player while act like an asshole to other more important player. Other team probably just do anything to force them out if there is a chances.
