Corriere della Sera report that Roberto Gagliardini to Inter is a done deal. He will arrive on loan (which will cost 3 million) and Inter will have the option to purchase him for a further 22. All in all, the deal could rise as high as 30 million including bonuses. In the coming days he will make his way to Marbella to link up with his new teammates and could debut against Udinese on Sunday.

#Gagliardini is next to join #Inter according to the latest rumors & Atalanta, to save from this departure, stopped Grassi's move to Empoli.

This is laughable. When we sign Italians which is next to never, this place screams bloody murder. You hear about how we should be more italian, have italian coach yada yada, but when we spend 25 M on an immense talent who would have went to Jube if we didn't step in, all of a sudden its rediculous and outrageous? Do you not see how the top teams in Italy are run? The days of cheap transfers are over, and i'm happy Suning mean business because I'm hoping we can push back against the big boys, and poach the best of the best in Italy while giving a big F U to Bbilan, Napoli, Roma and Jube. Now let's hope he plays

The price of the player hardly matters when we're dealing with an infinite budget. Until Suning shows a semblance of financial constraints towards our club, I couldn't care less how much we're spending on players.

This transfer makes an enormous amount of sense. Gagliardini can sit in front of our defense and dictate play, while also providing a defensive and physical presence. He's everything that Medel is supposed to be.

Additionally, this will turn Medel into a permanent CB and provide us with more depth so we're not relying on freaking Ranocchia as our first choice reserve.

Now go sign Darmian to play RB, unload 3-4 players, and call it a successful Mercato

As someone who has actually paid some attention to him I'm cautiously optimistic. The composure on the ball is beyond his years, and defensively he's solid. He's also fast for his size too.

From what I have seen of this guy, and it#s not much, he is an out and out regista, and has a good combo of physical and technical skill. These kind of players are very hard to get nowadays, looks a good buy. If this move pays off, he will be double this amount in a couple of years.

I have a good feeling about this transfer since all the elements are there for his success, but for me the most important factor is MENTALITY . Born and raised in Bergamo [between Milano and Brescia - where Pirlo was born] - this is a crucial factor in players reaching top potential and constantly improving. This is what Brazilians usually lack, and they start to decline towards the end of their career.

This factor was widely underrated by Inter and did not represent a priority when we used to buy players in the last 6 years [financial reasons, I guess]. That is because our Scouting Network and Directore Sportivo were looking for players with certain TECHNICAL and PHYSICAL attributes for a certain role, but did not emphasize on the PSYCHIC. As a result, we got all kind of players that seemed appropriate, but failed to live up to expectations and did not deliver on top level. Not everyone can handle pressure management, consistently obtaining good results [winning mentality]. I won't name players, you already know them.

Italians usually age like old wine, because they keep pushing themselves and are hungry for more. You guys probably know the mentality differences between North and South of Italy, so I'm confident he will be a great player one day. It will take some time for that, especially given that he's a midfielder, but I have no doubt he will do it.

The fact that we are linked to players like Verratti, Berardi/Bernardeschi, Darmian & Acerbi makes me happy. It means we have spending power and we`re going for the top young players available, to forge a TEAM in it`s true meaning and build for several years of success.

I wish him many trophies won @ our club!
