What's clear to me from this shitshow is we need Thuram's game up top to stretch it.

The Sanchez sub, I mean wtf. We brought him on to play AM? Did we not sign Klaasen to play AM? And ask him to warm up for fucking ages and then sit back down.

Considering how things went tonight, one point is okay. Let this disasterclass be a learnt lesson for the upcoming matches.

We should have been far more aggressive tbh. We are way too nice as a team and that is biting us hard in these kind of situations. At least we escaped undefeated tonight. Except of Pavard whom I think was quite good, the rest were pretty damn awful.

No need to point fingers on anyone tonight. All of them were rubbish, just focus on improving and never underestimate anyone.

Were brought back down to earth really quick after the derby hype. What an awful game this was. The 1 point feels like 4. Could have easily been 4-0 loss.

Inzaghi experiment did not work. We played like shit for about 75 minutes, so we should be thankful for this one point.

Arnautovic is too slow for a game like this.

Lets not overrate Salzburg now. They won cause Benfica played with 10 the whole game... And if we don't beat Salzburg, then no point in playing the UCL.

We got away with a point today.
However, I appreciate the last minutes displays.

Anyway, Antonio Silva will be unavailable on next match against Benfica.

Inzaghi simply trusted Sanchez more. He really messed up with the line up and couldn't fix the mess with the subs. So his last card was to rely on the experienced ones from the bench. He didn't want to make the mess worse by fielding a player he never coached before and someone who never played a minute for the team in such a delicate situation.

Pavard definitely a world class player ... will get used in a 3 cb system he just needs time
And Thuram is just a level above all our strikers

Shitshow but a good result considering.
I believe that was Asllani's last game. He simply has no place in this team and people keep bringing up age.... at 21 you either got it or you dont. He shows no signs of anything and he is consistently poor or mediocre at most. When you are playing a 3 man midfield there is a huge fucking gap there if one of the guys is missing.
Not much worth mentioning about starters however Pavard is pure class and he will have no problems slotting in, Acerbi like a fucking diesel engine - slow but never fails and always reliable, Dimarco invaluable. Sanchez >>>> Arnautovic

Pathetic performance from us until Martinez scored the equalizer and all of a sudden, Inter played like a champion and Sociedad were clueless/nervous. The subs of mainly Thuram and co. changed this game. Thuram did better in 5mins than what Arna was doing throughout.

It is a great point looking at how we had played until then. Later, we could have even scored the winner.

Sommer saved us throughout the game. Pavard, De Vrij, Augusto, Di Marco, Thuram played well. Aside them, almost all were not upto par. Martinez scored a nice goal but that aside, he was off today as well.
