this is something like a summary of mercato news from this hours.. i rarely see bullshit news in this daily summary, so i hope and believe that something could be true.

An awful lot changed when Rafinha arrived here in January. Finally got our goal scoring legs back a bit, brought some ingenuity to the midfield and, more importantly, being able to play in the middle of the pitch. We don't accomplish our goal for this season without that loan. He did all of this coming off a serious knee injury and he only had made one brief sub appearance in La Copa for Barca before the loan move as well, so he was doing what he did, not really at full match fitness at all.

Along the way, he integrated himself into the club, spoke of his desire to learn Italian, and has fallen in love with Inter as an entity. This guy may have some of that disgusting blaugrana that will always run through him but he's at least diluted a little bit of that with nerazzuri as well. That's good enough for me. This guy has a place on this team. Find a way to make this happen.

Well goddamnit now I'm hyped to see him back here. I'd been trying to forget him but I would love to see Rafinha in our colours again.

Not to mention we'd have a ready made replacement for Nainggolan in a few years' time.

I'm guessing we didn't get a hashtag for Cancelo because he never outwardly stated his love for us like Rafinha consistently did, and that does things to fans used to only seeing shits like Schelotto or Guarin declare their attachment to these colours.

Rafinha did wonders for our gameplay and he seemed very buddy-buddy with everyone, which could only have only improved the dressing room morale.

Would have loved to keep them both, but what can you do. In that poll we had about 'Cancelo or Rafinha' I voted for Rafinha, and I stand by that. Especially after seeing Cancelo join those zebra fuckers.

With Vecino going deep in the World Cup with Uruguay, more and more teams are interested in him for at least 25-30M. No brainer to take the money and run, while bringing back Rafinha long term. Get it done!
