Croatia have always got great results in the WC, i remember Suker in 98 so with amount of ex Inter & Brozo in the squad i am sure everyone here wanted them to win it. Neymar played great but for him not to take that penalty....

Brozo missed a great chance as well and Juranovic had a Maicon esque performance on the right. Props to Croatia who didnt give up after the Neymar goal and even pushed for a second after the equalizer. Congrats to the Fif Croatians as well

What we did in last two world cups is an act of God, I dont know how explain this. 3,5 mill population, shitty football infrastructure, stadions, corrupt refeeres, criminals managing clubs, mediocre league and still doing thing like this. Disagree about playing horrible. There is no way to reach semifinals in WC and past through this Brazil if you play horrible. On contrary, we tactically owned them, Vinicius, Rafinha and Richarlison were totally neutralized, our midfield make their suffer and players from Croatian league were those that created a finally scored against them. How about that
We played our way and that was the only way to try to stop them, there is so many quality right there in Brasil team, you cant play fluid an all atack football against them, it would be suicide. Ofc they'll have their chances and you need your keeper to step up and that happened. For me, last 30 minutes against Belgium and first 45 min against Japan was not good. Other than that was good to great. Against Brazil it was epic performance, we beat team that has much better players, much more quality in roster, they were one of favorites to win WC and they played fantastic tournament till we stop that. You cant do that playing horrible and you are wrong.
