If Neymar is fit this will be a piece of cake for Brazil. Croatia barely escaped past Japan. They have the quality to oust Brazil but seem uninspired on the pitch.

That's almost always exactly how it works. Sure, we watch for the possibility of exceptions, but that doesn't change the rules.
It's 2022, that's not how football works. You just need to look at the results in the WC so far:

Spain demolished Costa Rica by 7 goals. Costa Rica beat Japan, Japan beat Spain.

Switzlerland beat Cameron, Cameron beat Brazil, South Korea beats Portugal, Portugal demolish Switzerland by 6 goals.

Saudi Arabia beats Argentina, lost to Poland and Mexico. Mexico and Poland lost to Argentina.

There are countless examples both in nations and clubs competitions. Way too many to be exceptions! A team might look like crap one match and barely win against an inferior team, and next beats a better team. Inter is a prime example as well. Losing several points against inferior teams in the league and then qualify from the group of death in the CL by beating Barcelona.

Don't like any of this two teams but for the sake of calm rest of the Advent hoping Brazil can win this so we can get back to our lives without this circus.

Croatia goes through on penalties, Neymar misses 5th penalty and cries.

Exactly, that argument is arguably one of the worst I've seen in FIF.

So how the fuck Inter won CL in 2010?We barely escaped past Kiev and Kazan and easy lost to Barca in the group lol Cmon man that logic is trash🤪
It doesn't exactly compare. We didn't approach every single game with the same squad and intention in that campaign. Also, certain types of teams are built in a way where they perform better when underdogs, and struggle to break down weaker teams etc. There are many other factors.

Yep, but isn't exclusively what I'm referring to here. Let's go back to the original sentence.

"If Neymar is fit" -- very important qualifier. When he was fit, they easily dismantled Serbia and Korea.
"Croatia barely escaped past Japan ... [they] seem uninspired on the pitch" -- an observation based on results in the WC so far. Croatia only looked good in the Canada game, and even during that game they started out quite terribly.
Combining these two, we deduce that it should be a "walk in the park" for Brazil. Still, this statement is made all the while admitting that Croatia "have the quality to oust Brazil", therefore it's not like I'm saying a surprise is super-unlikely either.

So my argument wasn't that football game results are transitive binary relations. It was something much simpler based on the eye test. It can be reduced to: Brazil with Neymar > Croatia so far.

Even without Neymar Brasil is much stronger than Croatia, but your logic still sucks😉

Whats the best way for Croatia to play vs Brazil ?
Something similar to what Switzerland did in group stage. If Croatia can be fast in passing the ball when they get it Brasil could be in trouble, also it would be good to put Petković on Marquihnos so he tries to pull him out of the position and leave Thiago Silva back on open space vs. Perišić / Oršić. And I don't see a Brasil player that will be able to close Brozo all the time, like many teams usually do.

Biggest mystery is who will play on RW and ST positon for Croatia, but if midfield dominates like they know then it's irrelevant.

Brasil is favourite, but it won't be easy for them I would say it's 60/40%. Hopefully it will be boring game :D

My main concern is slowliness of whole team and shitty attack we have. I just dont see how we can suprise them. Our game is too predictable. We couldnt do anything to Belgium and Marocco, we were totally toothless upfront and we all know there is no chance to suprise this Brasil if you dont score atleast one goal.
