New games or Non RTS games, are generally preferred on consoles.

btw, call of duty on xbox about 6.3 mil, ps3 sold 3.7.

IW/Activision recently states they just sold over 10mil a month or so ago, doenst leave alot of room for pc.


Ive seen it recently updates, pc sold 1.88. But piracy screwed it over really.

Hmmm really? Wow, I though PC will sell a lot more than this. But then again it's also the question of the play. I assume they did with it what Gears of War is, I mean more "arcade" shooter, while on PC it is still traditional FPS.

Neverless, that's not a great result for PC, but the game is truely amazing. I enjoyed it very much.

As I've been saying, even if people preferred PC over any console, a high percentage of them would just download the game, not buy it. While on consoles, most of them would buy it original not an illegal copy version

Konami Secures UEFA Champions League License for Pro Evolution Soccer 2009


The Champions League, Europe's greatest club competition, will be featured exclusively in Pro Evolution Soccer 2009.

September 12, 2008 - Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced the signing of a four year deal securing exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League. The UEFA Champions League is Europe's greatest soccer club competition and will be fully featured in the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, all of which are scheduled to be available on November 11, 2008 in North America.

"The Pro Evolution Soccer series is synonymous with football being played at the highest level, which makes it perfect for hosting the best club football competition in the world", commented UEFA. "We are delighted that Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will feature the UEFA Champions League and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Konami."

The deal will allow Konami to use all elements and attributes of the Champions League competition with PES 2009, including related music and imagery. The licence confirms Konami's commitment to extending the series' reputation as the definitive and most realistic football series available, with key gameplay enhancements to be revealed in the coming months.

"The Champions League is the premiere soccer club competition and is a great addition to one of the many innovations we have lined up for Pro Evolution Soccer 2009," said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment. "We always strive to make the PES series as true to life as possible and this year is no different. Soccer fans can expect to see major graphic and gameplay improvements and will surely be impressed by the sheer depth of realism this year's game brings to the table."

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will be released for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Windows PC, and PSP (PlayStation Portable) system on November 11, 2008. Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will also be available for the Wii and is scheduled to be released early 2009.

Yeah it's a little old.

But I think Konami realised the situation, that Fifa is either catching up, or already overlapped the series that was named lightyears in front of Fifa.

I wonder if that's not to late. If Fifa will make as much progress in next 2, 3 years, as they did now, they will create the best simulation of a football game ever.

I was praising the day I've read Konami is going to release PES3 on PC. I couldn't believe my own eyes, and it was one of the best news I've read.

But the sad truth is that Konami is giving us almost the same game only in new package. I was sticking with PES, but I Konami doesn't pay me for playing their games. If Fifa will be for me better in tearms of gameplay than PES, than it's easy choice for me.

lol dude, i've been a pes fanboy since ISS days (if you know what that is). However my love was not blind, it was purely built on admiration of a great game. But last year they threw that away.

Also, my dislike for fifa was about their decline, but now that has also turned.

Just got Fifa 09 full. Inter is very good, Ibrahimovic I think is one of the best strikers in the game I mean he is GOD and he can do almost every dribble in the game, Cambiasso,Cordoba and Zanetti are also very good and QUaresma,Mancini fast and have very good crossing, oh and Cesar has 87 now, one of the best . The Custom 4-3-3 tactic Inter has is very interesting and unlike Chelsea's or Barcelona's 4-3-3 it is very solid and you can defend very well, but the attack is not so good , because Ibra drops very deep to defend and you have trouble getting the ball up the field(hey this sounds familliar doesn't it?), I recommand you switch to 4-4-2 with Ibra-Balotelli or Ibra-Cruz upfront, because with this formation I really kicked some major ass , it has a nice attacking flow, the counter-attacks are deadly beacause of Quaresma's and Mancini's speed, and Ibra is so strong , hell Ferdinand,Milito,Vidic,Gallas are no match for him, I got passed them like a hot knife through butter....oh and another thing, unlike reality(to some extent) Ibra has very good finishing skills in the game

Yes I am 100% sure. Officialy it is supposed to go out in stores on 3rd October, but I got it cracked it came out yesterday night on torrents

Downloading now. But from feedback pes 2009 on the pc crushed fifa 09 on the pc. Its much better than 2008's version.
