I just watched a very very short highlight of the 2nd leg of the Copa Libertadores final. The Once Caldas' goal was superb!!! A rocket from 35 metres out!!! Burdisso equalized for Boca. His goal comes from a header after the ball was floated in to the area from a set-piece play down Boca's right flank. It was quite a thumping header I think (Not sure, no replay). Burdisso was one of the penalty takers and as you know, he missed. He crashed (And I mean it, CRASHED) his shot to the middle of the bar. And from the penalty, I discovered that he's right-footed.

Good for Burdisso. Even before he has arrived in Milan, he has adopted the choker mentality.

He´ll blend in perfectly with the rest of the squad.

Reminds me of Dino Marino. I think he assisted the goal at the Primavera League final but he missed the penalty that would have won the title for us. :(

Burdisso is right footed but he can also play as a LCB (like Canna...)

So I'm thinking if he really can play as a RB (as some Argentines have said) then he could play a double role of being a backup CB (if Canna stays) and also a backup for the indespensible J.Zanetti (who might be tired after playing for Argentina or something like that, no injuries of course ;) )

:D :D :D . Maybe if he already choked with another club he won't choke with us. The curse states that a player has to be a non-choker before joining us.

Has anyone heard anything more about Burdisso...wasn't he supposed to come to Milano three days ago to sign the contract?

Nothing official from inter.it yet.

It would be great to get some "latest news" directly from the club, once in a while...instead of reading the gossip sites and guessing.

If I am not wrong, he's been selected for the Copa Cup, which means that he will come only with J.Zanetti and co.

Can I just ask Javier Zanetti why he has included Antonio Cassano in his team for next season. He's not coming is he??

Anyway, this has been a great signing for us. I was actually slightly shocked by some people who have been saying he will be a sub. This guy is an argentinian international, he can start for us. He should start for us!!

forza burdisso !!!!

so, that cud also mean that he won't be participating in the Copa America Cup ... great for us .....

forza inter management for this signing, if what we heard of him is really true ....

when it comes to defenders, inter seems to get the right players ....

Cordoba
J.Zanetti
Materazzi
Bergomi
Blanc
.....

I mean players, who really give alot to the club

hopefully, Burdisso has joined the group

I think he is being sarcastic since it was already official (via Boca's website) it was all a matter of time until he was officially presented.

This season looks to be good somewhat on the transfer market...now if we just get rid of some unneeded players that we cant build a future around we will be in perfect position to start the season.

Yep, let's see....

Kily
Okan
Lamouchi  :D
Helveg
Brechet
Almeyda
Cristiano Zanetti :proud:
Cruz
Kallon
Ventolan

I'd allow all of these players to leave.

In fact, the only players that I would consider indespensible right now are:

Toldo
Cordoba
Javier
Burdisso(I know he's only just joined, but still!)
Emre
Stankovic
Adriano
Martins
I wouldn't even consider an offer for any of these players. Well unless someone offered us Ronaldinho in exchange or something. But I would never sell Adriano or JZ. They really are indespensible.
