Never watch him. Hell, I don't even know how he looks like!!! But I'm glad that we get a central defender, and a young one at that. I just hope that Burdisso accept the bench and a place behind the pecking order of Cafè, Canna and Matrix. Another hope is that Burdisso will be to Inter what Samuel is to Roma. ;) (Minus the 'Leaving to Real' part. :D)

Oh and another thing, don't be disappointed by saying that Inter or Moratti or Facchetti aren't ambitious should this deal 'falls'. After all, his name hasn't been mentioned at all at the official website and it all remains nothing but rumours at the moment.

Burdisso is too risky to be a starter in his first season in Italy... But he has the potential and this makes me wonder is Cannavaro really leaving... we'll see, it will definitely be interesting...

While watching the first leg of the Copa L. Final I found out that Burdisso plays as a LCB, so the combo of Cordoba and Burdisso could very well exist. So maybe Canna will be sold

Hope not...

I wrote that he is very good, but I don't think that he can replace Cannavaro immediately.

For me Cannavaro-Burdisso match better.

Both of them play mostly on the left so lining him with Cordoba would be a better option...

I really don't see why people are saying he's too risky to be an immediate starter for us. He will give us height in the centre of defence and he's already an argentinian international...I personally don't think there is anything risky with having a full international, especially argentinian in our team! :D

Giacinto Facche
He’s a good buy, got potential to reach great heights...What worries me is that he’s coming to a club like Inter, which has a reputation for giving up on talent pretty quickly :scared: But we did watch players like Martins and Adriano dazzle us with magic, so is it time for a Defender to rise and become a hero?

He could either end up as : -

A) Huge talent, but something horrible went wrong...Another victim of the dreaded “What if” (Dalmat, Dalla Bona, Brighi etc)

B) Huge talent, but sadly stuck at a certain gear...Does he have the momentum to go further? (Pasquale, D'Agostino, Miccoli etc )

C) Huge talent, with the world of football at his feet (Martins, Adriano, De Rossi, Pazzini, Della Rocca etc )

Zamparini: Inter Stole Burdisso From Me
6/27/2004 4:13:00 PM
Palermo's president Maurizio Zamparini is very angry with the Inter managers on how the behaved during the transfer of the defender Burdisso.
"I don't think that Moratti has much to do with this because I know that he is a gentleman," he said. "We were in talks with Boca Juniors and they went behind our backs contacting directly the player, I will not forget this kind of behaviour".

:dielaugh: We haven't done nothing that juve haven't been doing for years. It ain't inter's burdisso prefered inter to palermo. Maybe jz had a word with him. :D

official:Burdisso to inter

The Argentine defender Nicholas Burdisso, transferred by Inter Juniors Mouth, of Italy, in four million euros, "is like mastín that also knows to use the brain", according to defined east Saturday Luis Suárez, ex- Spanish player and present leader of the European club.

"Burdisso is an optimal defender, never risks too much, prefers to stay in the mark of the attacker whom thanks to their good physicist have destined him, to which it adds a good aerial game,", declared Suárez in an interview that publishes east Saturday the sport newspaper Italian ' Tuttosport'.
