Martins spoilt for choice
Newcastle’s Oba Martins could be on his way to Juventus after English reports claimed officials from the Italian giants met with the ex-Inter striker’s agent over a possible summer move. With new Toon Boss Sam Allardyce looking to bring in Nicolas Anelka from his old club Bolton Wanderers and Michael Owen back from injury, the Nigerian international knows a first team place will no longer be guaranteed. “Oba’s days in England are numbered,” said a close friend of the striker. “Juventus and Valencia are in talks with his agent, so maybe it’s goodbye to the Premiership.”
