Well, we got Hakan and Mhiki for free, same way PSG got Skriniar for free. Sometimes it works for us, sometimes not. Lets move on.
Why would he respect us when we didn't respect him? We tried to sell him to Spurs in the middle of a Scudetto race for fuck's sake.Nah some of you guys are missing the point. It's not about him leaving Inter, and this isn't some unwanted or old player. Skriniar disrespected Inter. He could've signed a contract out of respect for the club and then left for a fee SPECIALLY when it's PSG out of all clubs knocking on doors.
The dude fucking said it took him one second to decide on PSG.. what more do you need Skriniar to say for you to hop off his dick? How many times have we tried to sell Bastoni, Lautaro and Barella compared to Skriniar? You can't just take one side of the story into consideration.
Marotta is ignoring that his own actions caused the consequences here.
They did.. Take note of how his replacement is a better player and will win more than he could ever dream of.Or the management should have taken the hint that "he always said no".
The silver lining in all this is that Pavard is a better tactical fit for Inzaghi than Skriniar could ever be.They did.. Take note of how his replacement is a better player and will win more than he could ever dream of.
No, they didn't. If the had he wouldn't have left for free. But yes, Pavard is twice the player Skriniar is imo. They did.. Take note of how his replacement is a better player and will win more than he could ever dream of.
Why can't we criticize both sides instead of putting all blames on the management? First wrong nullifies the second? Why would he respect us when we didn't respect him? We tried to sell him to Spurs in the middle of a Scudetto race for fuck's sake.
What do you mean 'we'? The management or the president don't represent the fans or the club. Did the fans disrespect him before he showed his true colors? Get your facts right and don't sugarcoat it, he is a mercenary no more no less. Why would he respect us when we didn't respect him? He is surrounded by the management all days of the week and sees the fan once every fortnight. Management decides his pay and fate. What do you mean 'we'? Find me one statement from any player ever after he signed for a club where he says it took him a really long time to make up his mind if he really wanted to come there Don't be so gullible. After you sign the dotted line and get your money you say whatever you have to say onward. The dude fucking said it took him one second to decide on PSG.. what more do you need Skriniar to say for you to hop off his dick?
No player ever gets sold if he doesn't want to. He can just say no.
Just stop making new history, please.Let's not ignore that the plan was to sell Skriniar to fund Lukaku transfer.
We failed so we then tried to sell Onana to fund Lukaku transfer...
No man. Just stop riding his dick...Well, he said no in the end
Again, ignoring the facts. We didn't try to extend with him. We counted on his loyalty that he would (in worst case scenario, mind you) sign at the very last minute of his contract while trying to peddle him around. What does that say to the player and his agent? Only after various attempts fell through, only then we tried to extend. How is the player meant to interpet that? Are you extending because you value the player in your shirt or do you do it because you want him gone but not for free?
No one else would feel warm and welcome here if he was to get treated like that. Management is not mad that they got "betrayed", they are mad because he one-upped them at their own game. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. If you want the player to stay, extend him well in advance and don't attempt to sell him - it's that fucking simple. Because when the player runs off like in this scenario and you call him a traitor it's very hypocritical.
Maybe you just need to learn the actual history? This isn't new stuff...Just stop making new history, please.
Skriniar was about the get sold a year before. When Lukaku came on pure loan. The idea was to get Bremer for his replacement, hit huge capital gain, and have some cash remained. There was zero creditable rumors saying that we wanted to sell Skriniar in order to purchase Lukaku back.Maybe you just need to learn the actual history? This isn't new stuff...
