No one has a clue. Everything is a guess. The only definite is that we'll be selling something or value next summer.

Bastoni refused to leave this summer. What makes you think he’ll be more open to it next summer?

If Dumfries continues his fine form at club level and during the World Cup, he’ll command lots of attention. I can see a club like United offering a huge amount for him.

It's most likely plusvalenza because the cash inflow cannot really be projected in another way.

If we make it to the R16 of CL for example, we make something like 12m extra. Quarters means, I don't know, significantly more.

The issue is that Suning wants both the plusvalenza and the net profit.

Net profit of what? Net profit in the whole financial year? Or in the mercato (which doesn't make much sense as transfers in and out are calculated so differently in the books and payment schedules can be negotiated).

If 60m€ is plusvalenza, we are quite fucked as Pinamonti didn't create much, less than 10m€. Casadei was even more understandable in that case.

Net profit for the company. They don't care about the squad. It's all about the books.
The easiest way to achieve that is to sell big and buy with peanuts.

I'm leaning towards believing that they want to fix the books for some reason. Either to make the loans cheaper or to present this to some funds and make the company appear healthier than it is.

I'm also guessing that since the Chinese aren't really fond of "western accounting" there's a lot of friction on how to prepare the books and what to include there, so their way of getting what they want is by overdoing everything. So sell more than needed, buy less than needed etc.

I mean I don't get how they are thinking they are doing a good job 2 years ago we gave the coach who wanted to leave and had a new job 7 million to leave while he breached his contract. Pretty sure someone else got a golden handshake because we do a ton per season.

this year we gave 1 guy 5 million and the other 4 to leave.

Just between these 3 guys its almost 20 million. Then we keep hiring way past due older players that we will continue to give golden handshakes to for insane wages pissing off the younger players who want higher contacts.

Icardi might have turned to shit but we let one of our top 5 scorers ever( only 1 who played when black and Latin American players were allowed to play) because he wanted Dzeko money.

I am not saying Milan has a great model but not giving your players insane wages is the way to go. I just wouldn't let a starter leave every season for free and would have sold Hakan and Kessie instead of losing them for free.

I mean 3 million euro wages for 1 season if part of the loan is not awful. 5 million to buy + 2 years at 3 mil would just not make any sense at all. Just give a youth player the chance and give them 500k. Or develop a player from a bigger club while paying the wages.

I rather we bring back either of the U23 guys we sent out on loan at CB. they never play than give a player who will come her to just get injured then get a 3 million next summer to leave.

Thats a different story though most of them are ADRs and thus they got away with a lot less scrutiny when getting listed then Us companies would...
This does not apply to Inter....
Secondly a Fund or who ever buys us would probably see through that as these things fall apart pretty quick and agin with most of these companies the business itself is in china so it s a lot harder for US investor to asses the actual business(luckin).
Inter s business is in italy and the contracts are pretty transparent which makes cooking the books even harder.
The only other party suning could be trying to fool is Fifa/Uefa and i think they have pretty clear accounting rules and probably good visibility on sponsor ship and players contracts.
So really whats the point? fool creditors?
