I'm very very very proud of you to say that about an ex-ajacied....

:D Thank you, but Maxwell played good with his feet and not with his mouth like the other :yuck: ajax players. He isn't such an arrogant ass like most of the other players there, at least he doesn't seem to be one;)

Smelling a Fadiga coming up. :D It's a shame that he is unable to play matches, since this is the time where he could receive the match-fitness that was needed. When the season starts, he will struggle unless he plays.

If you guys remember well, Maxwell had said that he would be available to the coach from September onwards. Source - inter.it

First of all, I barely understand a word you're saying.

So, to the point, if you haven't seen Maxwell in pre-season action then you either need glasses or need simply to open your eyes.

LOL, Fadiga and Maxwell dont have anything in common, only the fact they are both foreigners. Maxwell will be SUPERB for us. And he hasn't featured, YET. Ohh actually he did, against some Brunico side or something, didn't see the game.

From inter.it:

85616.jpg

"Maxwell is looking in better form each day. We'll be hearing a lot more about him"

85618.jpg

"Maxwell and Fabio Grosso have already developed a good understanding on the left"

No reason whatsoever to worry.

Nicely you missed Jimmy's point. He compared that Maxwell hasn't played in any pre-season matches just like Fadiga three years ago. But maybe that was a bit exaggeration. As far as I know, and it also seems so, that Maxwell doesn't have any heart-problems. :)

All I know is that he has played. I haven't seen him, but coaches have expressed their please with his performances, as someone posted above.

Yeah, what is happening to this guy? Is he still recuperating or is he just a bencher? He hasn't got a decent chance, even Nico is (wrongly) chosen before Maxwell.

Like I said. A new Fadiga.

I wouldn't keep him in that category coz with Maxwell, it's different. He's just back after a long time and he's having to compete with many players for the left back spot or even the left wing. If he was here only last season and fit to play as well, then he would have played lots of games; but after many seasons he happened to come in a time when we have got many options available for the left back position - J.Zanetti / Grosso.

:)

I think he's getting some fitness back with the Primavera, I read it on www.inter.it maybe.

He has been out a long time with an injury, so it will take some time. Fadiga was a different story, he had no heart or something like that ;). Maxwell is human. :D

I think that is taking it a little too far. Maxwell is a very highly rated LB with great ability. I think Mancini was hoping to have him fully ready after summer training for the start of the season so that he could try him out. He suffered a setback that prevented that from happening but this is not to say that he not working hard to get back. He has been playing with the Premivera squad to get match time and I remember Materazzi saying in an interview that he worked throughout the summer to be back but couldnt make it. He also went on to say something like they had to force him to take a holiday so that he could get a break.

I expect to see him playing in the return leg of the Coppa game but besides that prolly wont see much from him besides sub appearences till the end of the year.

Also you cant really blame Mancini, the guy hasnt been fully up to the task and the LB position seems to be pretty well covered. No sense in tinkering with something that aint broke. I think his best bet would be to slot in somewhere in the midfield and see if he cant find his feet there as a left winger or on the left side of a diamond midfield.
