Most players that leave Inter, they get the "fuck him" treatment and they get hated everytime that players team doesn't win.

Skriniar, Perišić, Shaqiri, Onana, Hakimi, Cancelo, Coutinho, K-Dog,..

So many posts about "he was overrated at Inter, hahah bitch, you change clubs because you are a fuckhead"

Even Kovačić, who was loved here gets hated because he wasn't instrumental at winning all of those CLs.

A part of FIF is reaaaaaally toxic.
I didn't notice that, but maybe you are right. I have negative feelings only towards Skriniar and Lukaku for the way how they left. I still wouldn't mind Perisic, Onana, Hakimi or Cancelo to come back if it is possible to happen in some conditions. Even, my feeling towards Icardi are mostly neutral as he was mainly influenced by his wife. He is just too much obsessed with her till the point of having no personal opinion. I cannot hate him for that.

I haven't seen a single poster hating on Perisic - in fact, I'd say he's liked by all Inter fans here, as he should be. Hakimi seems to be liked too. With Onana, I think there are arguments on how good he was, but I doubt anyone would dislike Onana from his time here. Shaqiri barely played here or made an impact so I don't think too many have much of an opinion on him.

The only 2 players from that list that may be disliked by some would be Skriniar and Kondogbia for different reasons.

We had no idea if he was good enough, though. He hasn't played real, high level football in three years. And sorry, but I'm not willing to call him "back" after dominating a farmer's league and United's wretched defense.
He cant be worse than Arnautović.

I haven't seen a single poster hating on Perisic -
All of the players I mentioned got hated in some form. Perišić at first that he went to Bayern and then that he didn't deserve the CL win because he wasn't a starter. After that it was because he didn't stay (management did fuck up by not giving him a new contract sooner) and went to Spurs, so every time Spurs didn't win, there were posts about how Perišić wasn't even all that good for Inter except for his last season here

Hakimi was getting the "not even that good" treatment as a coping mechanism by some. For us, he was an attacking RWB, for PSG he is a B2B RB haha. He had his good and his bad games, but he never really looked any worse than what was his average at Inter. I would say he has been one of the better players for them, even tho he is more suited to be a RWB.

Coutinho was getting the "he would never be good enough for Inter, we gave him enough chances" After he left Liverpool to go to Barcelona, he got lambasted because he didn't perform (deservedly so), but the same people also acted like he didn't have at least 2,5 boss seasons at Liverpool. At a certain point, he and Suarez were too good for EPL.

Why Icardi got hated, we all know, but his contribution for us soon got downplayed. Sure, I also didn't like his ghost mode during games, that is why I prefer players like Lautaro or Kane. He fucked his own career and he would be an Inter legend if he stayed under the right conditions (I'm 75% sure in that assesment). Now just because he is in Galatasaray, suddenly he isn't Inter level anymore?

With Onana it's malice from some members. They just never liked him, maybe because he replaced our aging, beloved captain and that showed that there can be life after Handanović. I would love to have at least 7 clean sheets in every CL season. And that's after playing in a group with Bayern and Barcelona.

Well I could go on, but I won't.

Let me end on this - treasure the players we have. This is actually a good Inter era right now. Also good players can have bad games but they can still turn it around. Just look at Barella. He isn't a boss every game. So let's not throw hate at him if he ever leaves and doesn't perform there. Only what he did for us matters.

I find it funny how a lot of posts go "high wages for a bench player". You ppl really think Icardi would have been benched?

As a matter of fact (if you don’t count his personality) he would have been ideal for us. Just the type of player we lack. I thought he was totally done at top level, but he’s proving me otherwise the last months. I still think he isn’t good enough the be a sure starter anymore, but he certainly would have his worth.

Still sad how it went with Icardi. I totally loved this guy when we where at banter era. Would have been an icon if he was a little different. We still earned 50 mln on him. And Lukaku showed he was a worthy replacement (his first spell).

Marotta was asked to choose between Lukaku and Icardi now. He picked Icardi 😀
Beppe Marotta found himself at a crossroads at the Trento Sports Festival: Mauro Icardi or Romelu Lukaku? Here is the Inter CEO's response to the two former Nerazzurri strikers: "The way things went, Icardi was better", said Marotta. A real attack on Big Rom...

😀
