Mauro missed a penalty by shooting wide, then scored by lobbing Onana. Plus worth mentioning that pivotal pass to set up the winner.

Icardi basically owned Man Utd and Onana.

It helps because Onana doesn’t come forward early to cover more shooting angles and commits on his feet for no reason

If only we signed him instead of Arnautovic.

no and not like he wants to eat the bench
exactly, I never seen an ex-captain coming back to a club to be a bench option

so in a perfect world, obviously Icardi is better than Arnautović, but this just wouldn't work and the management that told him to leave is still here. Our club just doesn't want to have drama like that at the club

His salary is also too big for a bench player

Can’t believe people would even consider having him back in any capacity as an option again… 🤣😂
As a player he is still good enough. If only that was the only thing to think about, even the big wages would be worth it

Is he still with Wanda. ????

That's the question you should be asking yourselves

If not than his career might see some improvements

We had no idea if he was good enough, though. He hasn't played real, high level football in three years. And sorry, but I'm not willing to call him "back" after dominating a farmer's league and United's wretched defense.

Not as big as 10m per year.

Definitely as good as dragging your team single-handedly forward. There's a bunch of players with 10m per year doing jackshit.

Icardi is a very rare player. Though comparisions with Lautaro make no sense at all. He's probably the most clinical striker I have seen in my life, and I have been watching football for over two decades.

Too bad his adventure with Inter ended badly.

Icardi does not drag shit single-handedly forward lol. He is not Ibrahimovic. But a fox in the box and teams have to spoon feed him.

Obvious evidence is that we (Inter the team) are not weakened in terms of scoring a bit since he left. Neither did PSG.

Which 10m striker doing jackshit you mention? Not a single Serie A player getting paid that high. "Very rare" argument...I agree. that type of striker has been extinct since Roy Makaay/ Huntelaar and nowadays even GKs are asked to be more involved in the buildup.

Before I comment on your post, define what does dragging your team forward means to you?
