We are undoubtedly too dependent on Icardi's goals, I believe de Boer is working on this though, by encouraging the other two of the trident to get into the box more, as well as the two of the midfield three.

Come on. This isn't just about this season. Every season Icardi has lead our attack we've struggled to score goals as a whole. This despite him getting decent goal tallies every season. At a certain point surely the only common denominator needs to be looked at? Its not like the other members of our attacking unit have ever struggled at their other clubs. Two things have happened since Icardi became the focal point of our attack in my mind; Our ability to score on the counter has almost completely vanished, and the ability for our midfielders to score goals has all but disappeared. Of course this could all just be coincidence, and nothing to do with Mauro, but i'm not convinced. And there is simply no data which suggests a Icardi lead attack has ever been a successful one.

Well i m gonna say this again this seasons Icardi is not the same as last! He had the chievo and the cagliari game where he was his old lazy self that does not contribute. But in all the other matches i saw a mauro that was pressing opponents and running his ass off. On top of that how is it his mistakes when Candreva and Brozo miss huge chances? It s not like we dont create chances for anybody else, it s just that they usually fuck them up. I mean he should have finished yesterdays game with at least one assist.
Also atleast from last season i dont remember our attack beeing more fluid when another striker starts.

I just wonder what Mauro would have to do on the pitch in order to not get bashed by certain people?

icardi will not stay at inter forever, but ultras always will be there. players cannot complain about supporters. you guys just writing on keyboard in there (and complaining to curva even this little kid threatened them in his lie book) but they're going all away games and supporting the team.
