People here go from 0 to full panic mode real quick.. Agents are always talking shit to get the best possible deal for their players, it is the most natural thing in the world. Just look at Neymar situation before he signed a new contract or what Raiola is doing for Pogba now..

Icardi is an excellent striker and will be one of the best strikers in the world in a couple of years, Inter won't let him go. Even if Mancini wants him to go, Suning won't listen to him, they've already said no to his crazy wish Yaya and they certainly won't sell Icardi because of him.

Yes, but what they are doing now doesnt necessarily result in the best deal for Icardi. Short term, maybe, but clubs dont look well on attitude and behaviour like this.

This was a bold (naive) move by an inexperienced agent. She way over played her hand and than tried to back pedal.

Essentially her reasoning was either increase Mauro's contract or apparently if you don't think he's worth the extra money he must be for sale. Hence her comments about a fair market value "in line with his contract."

Inter handled it right IMO, we also don't want to come down to hard and overplay our hand. It's different slandering an agent when it's also that players wife and he has to go home to her every night.
