there are a lot of rumors about Ginter, Bremer and Luiz Felipe. Most of the sources claim that they can be De Vrij's replacements, but Skriniar has also contract which will expire soon (2023). We already tried to sell Skriniar one year ago, so I hope there is no plan to make overhaul in our defensive lineup and replace both of them.

It also seems that we will offload D'Ambrosio and Ranocchia which is a bit sad for me.

Hopefully not but tbh, I'm surprised if we sign player with 3.5m€ net salary to be a rotation option.

Of course Sanchez and Vidal leaving will ease the salary budget but we've signed many new payraises (Barella, Lautaro, soon Brozovic). And if we want to keep De Vrij, he needs a new contract too, same applies to Skriniar.

The salary thing is the one which would suggest Ginter in, De Vrij out. Adding Bremer to this with modest salary would be optimal but I don't know if it's financially possible.

We want improve our CL position every year, plus we need maintain title next year.

This is very good move because we don't know when our CB infected covid or get injured. We need solid backup like Ranocchia.

Marotta want make us par with Bayern in terms of squad depth.

Yeah. Skriniar being 3 years younger than De Vrij, I'd definitely keep Skriniar. He has more value in the market for sure but Skriniar is more dynamic and more multi-purpose. De Vrij can be only middle guy in the 3-man defence (it was a disasster when he was tried as RCB), Skriniar can do both, even though he hasn't been truly tested as the middle CB.

It's also possible Skriniar accepts lower payraise than De Vrij but let's see.

Hopefully a good rotation option but my fear is we will sell De Vrij this summer. Last year of his contract, he wants big money to renew and we can't/won't offer that.

In terms of our financial problems it would be something what would be good for the Plusvalenza but bad for the efforts on the field. I'm afraid we constantly needs to make a consideration about this the coming months. And as Cafe mentioned, Skriniar will likely accept a salary lesser than we would spend on De Vrij.

But we have to be careful to we won't insult Skriniar because his contract is also running out in 2023.

At the beginning of the season, I was very angry with Inzaghi and Beppe because of the transfers of Hakan and Joaquin, but their good performances made me eat my words.

I don't like Ginter at all but if Inzaghi and Beppe insist on him, all I can do is to believe this transfer makes sense.

I think we all hope that if Ginter comes it just as depth and that we also secure Bremer to fight for a starting role. Realistically I think we will go for Ginter no matter what because he’s free, and only go for Bremer if De Vrij leaves.
