idk man, we all know he can pull a worthy performance, we all know Inter is rotten from the inside atm and it probably affects him, and even if his form is going to fluctuate, I am still up for a sub like him.

He is too weak to have a starting role in the team. I don't want him to stay unless Sassuolo gives a discount so he can be a sub.

IMO the only reason to buy him this summer is if Fiorentina want him as a makeweight in the deal for Chiesa. Otherwise lets not waste 20m on a piece of garbage. Karamoh can be the back up RW - at least with the kid there is a slim hope of developing into good player considering his side.

I think he has done alright, and many times has been our only decent attacking outlet. In his defence, RWF especially in a 4-2-3-1 wouldn't be his best position. Redeeming depends on how we want to play and who we can or can't buy.

We might have. Remember the deal was structured to help us: we sold Odgaard before 1July for fucking plusvalenza and after that we loan him.
I suppose that was a gentlemen agreement to buy him this summer.

On other note I hope Spalletti will try him as a second striker with Lautaro or as a LW. Actually these were his best positions last year, when he scored like 10 goals.

If no Keita+Politano, could you please tell me your list of next season wingers, and how much would the new (better) ones reallistically cost? People are underestimating the importance of squad depth.

Candreva should be sold first, his transfer fee then spent on Politano. Politano salary is only 1.5m. We could easily recoup that 20m if we want to replace him the season after.

If anything we are overrating the depth thing here tbh. Ideally you need 14 field players with whom you have no difference in quality at all and adding to that 4 or 5 alternatives who know they are Backups. The other 2-3 players should be the most promising youth players.

Yeah he's no winger actually. He is just playing there. In 4231 and 433 there's only room for a forward though

Maybe you misunderstand the context. People are saying we shouldnt buy Politano.

Keita costs 35m. If we buy him, dont know where the money for “better-than-Politano” winger comes from. Don’t forget we are missing also an expensive midfielder and a RB.

Candreva...instead of keeping useless winger I’d rather sell and use his money for Politano.
