He isn't a bad finished, but he isn't that clinical as well. Out of all these chances, somebody had to score, and it was Thuram.

Very happy for his goal. He's been amazing in these matches so far, but I think tonight he was rather poor in overall. That goal saved his life because up to that minute, he was arguably the worst player in the pitch.

But it's just one of these matches where things just don't seem to click. He's essential to this Inter, one of few reasons that we play beautiful football and still win.

Not so great first half, very good second half.

I’d like to see him do a little bit more with the long balls we play towards him. I think he will in time, you have to remember again he is new to the striker position. It’s not like he’s grown up playing with his back to goal.

That’s the thing with him, he also finishes like a winger because that’s where he’s played most of his career. The more striker like finishes is where he’s missed some easier chances. However the potential on this guy is through the roof.

I was very iffy about Sommer, but I thought Thuram looked very promising during preseason.

He immediately stood out as a very intelligent player, from his off-ball movement and passing combinations.

I didn’t think he’d turn out this good so quickly, but he looked anything but a flop in preseason.

I remember being laughed at the forward rumors thread saying that he will thrive in this system seeing how he worked together with Plea at Gladbach.

I hope that he survives his usual winter hole and then we can finally all agree on having another great attacker here

I just didn't expect that he would be the starter for us, but he is doing quite well so far. The stats don't matter all that well, what matters is that we are winning and he is a part of that.

I just hope he isn't "figured out" and becomes more of a passenger for us later in the season.

We often talk about how lucky Inter is to have Thuram, but after seeing Paris match (and since he was linked to them), I think Thuram - too - is lucky to land here. What a mess, a meader that never defends nor help his partners (Mbappé), three useless forwards (Kolo Muani, Dembelé and Ramos), a joke of a defense (Marquinhos, even Skriniae looks like a rookie in this team), I think Marcus dodged a bullet there.

I like Kolo Muani. But I have nothing against seeing good players not winning all the time. It happens to everybody, even prime Messi Barcelona didn't win every game.
