Thuram has been very useful in every match even before his goals came. We said he is like Dzeko and Lukaku in one man, but I have to add more, he has also Lauatro in him in terms of usefulness. I can't praise this guy enough. He is a gold. We are super lucky to have signed him for free. God save him from injuries and sluts.

Yeah, this guy is too good. Probably the biggest surprise of this mercato in terms of what I expected and what I've seen in 4 matches. I mean, I didn't exactly know what to expect, I was concerned of his salary, will he live up to that etc (despite being free agent at that age so salary higher irregardless), can he score enough, can he adapt to Serie A. But man, guy is more useful than Lukaku from minute one and hasn't missed a beat. Then on top off everything, he pulls off that shot at Derby della Madonnina. You can't really ask anything more.

"I was supposed to come two years ago."

I was already thinking this, but I didn't wanna say it, but I guess Tikus said it himself...late August 2021, and Gladbach were playing their second game of the season away against Leverkusen. Not only did they get absolutely thrashed in that game (that's actually pretty par for the course these days in Gladbach/Leverkusen meetings), but Thuram got hurt. We were strongly linked with signing him before the end of the 2021 summer window, and then he gets hurt, and we pivot towards Correa.

While we can never be certain, the odds are very high that getting Correa instead of Thuram at that time is the reason we didn't win that Scudetto, and Milan did. It kinda hurts to think about. "Better late than never" and all that stuff but g-ddamn...

Father : Lilian Thuram, a great professionnal with an immense career.

Coach in NT : Deschamps, one of Italy's most successful student and a great coach.

Coach at Inter : Inzaghi, another great coach that trusts him and put him in a position to succeed.

Talk about being greatly surrounded.

tbh, though, who knows? He might never have really tried playing at striker, for example..

I honestly didn’t know he was this strong and quick. He could potentially do a lot of Lukaku-esque things but with more agility.

I didn’t really think he was faster than Lukaku when both are at top speed but he seems to be. Yesterday was the first match that really showed that. He always gets his toe in there first whenever there is a 50/50 ball.

He needs more training in being clinical and as link up and use his physical frame to truly replace Lukaku. If that can be built on him he would be a far more complete player as he is technically night and day better then lukaku a better assist maker and generally a bigger team player.

If he doesn’t I still like him as a type more and as a person he seem far more likeable

Think getting Corea instead of this bloke…. No words can describe what a mistake that was

Yea it is very hard to tell regarding top speed, but he can definitely accelerate faster, or at least able to show the speed in tighter space, not sure if it is due to other things like agility and better touches, but Lukaku needs longer distance and big space to show his speed.

Nonetheless, I like his speed.

Nobody impressed with his undy game? Dude never missed a chance to drop his pants and show the artwork inside.

(There's also some racist joke but I don't want to get banned)

Maybe after his goal people will understand what I was talking about when I was mentioning iconic goals...
Because this one for sure was one!

He most certainly is the best thing to happen to us in the summer (so far). His movement, hold-up play, dribbling, 1st time touch, small cute passes, SPEED, are such a joy to behold and have. His partnership with Lauti, the captain that has his own unique skill-set, is one of the best in Europe, not that many play with 2-man up top but whatever. He also seems to have good chemistry with Denzel on the pitch which I could only hope would grow stronger.
