Yah I noticed they were booing the Matrix and even Javier throughout the game which was kind of pathetic. For such a small stadium their fans are really vocal, good if you are a home supporter I guess.

I dont think the booing had any effect on the Matrix as he was a class act all night from what I saw. Only when Cordoba stepped in did Empoli look like they had any decent chance of scoring.

Not the best of Marco's performances. Except from brilliantly cutting down Lazetic in the first half and converting the penalty it was really un-Marco like performance. He was rather invisible to be honoust and in middle ofthe second half he was in trouble with Stellone on two occasions, in one of them deflecting a shot past Cesar.

Twas disappointing but I blame Burdisso for the goal because he cleared the ball badyl twice but then you cant forget that Matrix did that excellent penalty.

The season before we bought him , I think he was the top scoring defender in Serie A. 12 goals . He took their penalties also if I remember correctly.
